Are you passionate about working with complex economy tasks and challenges in a high-tech environment? In Performance Management in Terma you will be a key player in supporting the sales teams. Your responsibility also includes project controlling on the executions phase of the signed contracts. You will gain significant insight in the business of Denmark’s biggest defense company, working with colleagues in Denmark and the United States.
Performance Management
The Performance Management group has the overall financial coordination role towards the business areas within Terma, acting as a business partner. The responsibility entails ensuring proper financial control with the project portfolio, monthly forecasts, performance reviews, KPIs, monthly reports, budgeting, strategy financials etc. We always do our very best to deliver the promise and work with integrity to ensure that our business controlling is accurate, enabling Management to make timely and informed decisions.
Your primary tasks
You will have the responsibility as Business Controller within the aircraft self-protection systems (SPS). Terma’s self-protection and aircraft survivability equipment has been installed on more than 2.500 aircrafts, whereas over 1.000 are in the US. Every F-35 flying today has Terma composite panels, leading edges, and electronics. As a member of the SPS team, you will work closely with the Vice President of Programs and the Vice President of Business Development Europe. Furthermore, you will play an important role in the cooperation with the Terma organization in Unites States. In addition, you will also work with stakeholders in other parts of Terma’s organization, including Supply Chain, Production and Technology.
You will be a key player in supporting the sales teams setting up the financial aspects of the sales opportunity and guide the team through the review process, as well as project controlling.
In the Performance Management team, we are responsible for developing our internal processes and tools, and you will be involved in various optimization activities.
You will gain a significant insight into the Terma business model and obtain an extensive network within Terma.
The position is part of the Performance Management department within the CFOO organization and is placed in our headquarters in Lystrup, Denmark.

- You hold a Bachelor or Master’s degree in Finance, Economics, Business or Accountancy
- 3-5 years of professional experience will be preferable
Your personal qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must be able to handle information originating from different sources and make your own analysis and evaluation. With your open-minded approach and positive attitude, you have the confidence to network with people across departments, business areas and geographies.
In addition:
- Experience within controlling is an advantage, ideally within project sales
- Preferably knowledge of ERP and BI systems
- You have good communication skills and speak and write English effortlessly
