Cimbria is undergoing a transformation towards a more data driven future and to substantiate the process, the company needs further resources within the finance area. As FP&A Controller you will be part of a relatively young team who wants to make things more simple and more manageable. Furthermore, you will be a central part of an exciting journey towards full SAP integration with a lot of opportunities for development within the organization.
Support the regional management team
You will be supporting the regional management team for Grain and Seed EME & Africa related to the consolidated view on the financial performance of the business. In addition, you will be responsible for budget and forecast preparation related to the Danish entities within Grain and Seed in close collaboration with the Head of Finance in Denmark.
Your primary tasks are:
To be successful in this role, you need to be able to meet deadlines and develop a sales database with information to support management and sales team. In addition, you must successfully manage monthly reporting & forecast/budgeting process and structure and secure consistent reporting across functions, and finally simplify processes.
Good and strong understanding of accounting management
We expect you to have a bachelor’s or master’s degree, e.g. Auditor or Financial Management. You have plus two years of business experience, or you recently graduated – most important is a profound accounting understanding and a deep understanding of accounting management. You possess analytic skills to develop and provide relevant supporting finance data, and your experience enables you to challenge the numbers – actual and forecast.
You are outgoing, good at building relationships and thrives with multiple stakeholders where you are the primary contact. As a person you are open minded towards other cultures and ways of doing things, as well as understanding of differences. Your colleagues see you as a person with a high level of ambition and a natural strive for excellence. You have a natural drive, that shows initiative, and act proactively. You understand the dynamic of working in a large organization, and with an energetic approach you can handle multiple tasks simultaneously. Finally, you are known to be detail oriented without losing track of the big picture.

There will be a lot of cross-border coordination in close collaboration with the management around EME. You are going to have great influence on shaping the tasks and work and you are expected to drive a massive change process.

Support the regional management team
You will be supporting the regional management team for Grain and Seed EME & Africa related to the consolidated view on the financial performance of the business. In addition, you will be responsible for budget and forecast preparation related to the Danish entities within Grain and Seed in close collaboration with the Head of Finance in Denmark.
Your primary tasks are:
- Coordinate the budget and forecast process across all sites in Grain and Seed EME & Africa
- Support the Grain & Protein Finance Director on ad hoc basis
- Responsible for all Grain and Seed EME & Africa based entities in relation to:
- Reporting and controlling of consolidated numbers for actuals, budget and forecast
- Supporting race car driver and commercial excellence with validated sales related data
- Variance reporting and preparation of roll forwards
- Accountable for timely and accurate reporting in relation to:
- Fass schedules and US Gaap input
- Budget and forecast across entities in Grain and Seed EME & Africa (Denmark, Austria, Czech, Italy & Kenya)
- One stream reporting of actuals from each location
- Participate in yearly update of Transfer Pricing documentation and reporting
- Act as resource and support during internal and external audit
- Contribute to ongoing SAP implementation and participate in workshops creating the future processes and procedures
