Area Sales ManagerRemote work possibilities – Global company – Strong brand Do you want to be the vital link between the factory and the dealers, and do you want to have good colleagues? As Area Sales Manager you will be part of a small and dynamic team, and you will play a key role in strengthening the market presence by promoting Valtra's smart framing technology. Valtra machines are specifically designed for farmers and contractors who value close customer relationships as well as solutions that handle demanding working conditions. Valtra is one of the key brands of the AGCO Corporation, the world's third-largest designer, manufacturer, and retailer of agricultural machinery. You will play an important role in shaping the future of agriculture and food production in Scandinavia. You will be responsible for developing and implementing strategies that strengthen the market presence and enable the success of the Danish customers and the dealer network. The ambition is to increase the market share and therefore you will be responsible for driving and developing retail demand, as well as maintain and further solidify strong customer relationships in the Danish market. Your responsibilities will include the following:
Drive the Valtra’s sales to grow market share profitably.
Strengthen customer satisfaction, network development, and boost digital sales funnel management with the dealer network.
Together with your team, you will be responsible for the Valtra brand’s commercial strategy in Denmark and the strategic growth plan delivery.
To be successful in this role you have a bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Technology or Agricultural Engineering/Agronomy. You have solid sales experience, regional in-depth market understanding, Agricultural business knowledge and product knowledge. You are fluent in both oral and written Danish and you have good English communication skills. Furthermore, you have a high degree of PC literacy and familiarity of CRM tools such as Salesforce. You live in a decent driving distance from the company’s office in Fredericia, and you will spend approximately 40% of your time visiting the dealers. As a person you can be described as energetic, having a strategic mindset, and a strong team spirit. You are self-motivated, have a high sense of time management and can operate in a fast-paced environment. Furthermore, you are dynamic, have strong communication skills and you want to affect change every day.
