At 3shape our aim is to lead digital dentistry and improve the lives of our customers. We are looking for a driven Sales Excellence Manager, with a proven track record of implementing Sales Excellence and developing a high-performing sales team, who wants to join us in changing dentistry.
Department and Responsibilities
The Sales Excellence Manager will report into the Head of Commercial Excellence and be part of the Commercial Excellence team, which is based in our global Headquarters in Copenhagen, right next to Kongens Nytorv. Sales Excellence is a new arm of the Commercial Excellence team, whose core task is to improve our commercial effectiveness and efficiency. By introducing Sales Excellence, we want to accelerate the growth of our digital dentistry solutions by developing a common foundation for how we drive sales together with our reseller partners.
In this role you will be responsible for defining and rolling out a global way of selling in 3shape that maximizes our sales efforts across our customer touchpoints, including through the reseller channel. You will be driving sales and reseller enablement and build programs that ensure adoption of the global sales framework and a strong delivery of our value proposition by our subsidiaries and resellers. In close collaboration with our Marketing and Global Academy team, you will be responsible for providing our Sales Managers, Product Specialists and resellers with the necessary content, tools, and training to successfully sell 3shape's products and services. Also, you will play an important part in ensuring we have the right sales enablement, performance and CRM tools and processes in place to deliver effective and efficient selling.
We are looking for an inspirational individual who can set 3shapes Sales Excellence direction, is ahead of the curve when it comes to sales enablement and is passionate about empowering our great people in sales and resellers.
Job responsibilities will include, but not be limited to, the following:
- Develop and implement 3shape's global sales framework in close collaboration with our local markets and functions
- Build sales and reseller enablement programs that ensure adoption of the global sales framework and a strong delivery of the 3shape value proposition
- Identify the organizational needs for sales training and translate those needs into sales training with relevant functions and support delivery incl. train-the-trainer
- Drive professional engagement with our resellers by supporting and equipping our Sales Managers with solid performance mgmt. processes and tools
- Ensure our CRM system becomes an enabler of growth by identifying commercial needs and converting them into solutions in strong collaboration with the CRM team
- Deliver key frontline effectiveness projects such as, incentive structures, S&T etc.
- Up to 30-50 travel days to be expected, exact amount is dependent on how the COVID-19 pandemic unfolds
Professional Experience and Competencies
The ideal candidate has the following experience:
- 3+ years of work experience from Sales Excellence role or similar and demonstrated ability to implement and lead Sales Excellence projects
- Organizationally savvy with strong stakeholders mgmt. skills and the ability to influence on all levels
- Experience in working closely with sales teams across the globe and a good understanding of the world of a Sales Manager
- Proven ability to effectively train, teach and lead others (indirectly - no direct reports)
- Sound problem solving skills and strong commercial understanding incl. the ability to identify commercial needs and translate them into solutions
- Strong experience in CRM (preferably Microsoft Dynamics) and Microsoft office (Powerpoint and Excel) and power BI is an advantage
- Experience within the MedTech industry is beneficial
- Fluent in English (written and spoken) – ideally combined with one more language
- Bachelor Degree in Business or similar
