Since 1957 the company has been serving leading manufacturers of ingredients, chemicals, and additives. The Nordic countries are the company’s home ground and it serves its customers from offices in Denmark, Sweden and Finland.

As Alsiano strives to become the leading supplier of raw materials in the Nordic countries, the company is now searching for an experienced and ambitious sales manager, who has a deep understanding and knowledge of raw material sales within coatings, agro/pet food, household/cleaning industry in Sweden, Norway and Finland.
Role
Alsiano develops solutions within food, biotechnology, healthcare and industrial applications, based on technical knowledge, commercial experience and long-term relations.
Adding value for their partners is a must – thus your role will be to maximize the existing business relations as well as develop new business opportunities to ensure pipeline building.
In short, you will be responsible for driving all sales within the above segments in Sweden, Norway and Finland.
You will be part of the nordic sales team and will report to the Business Director, Industrial Solutions, based at HQ in Copenhagen.
Tasks
· Responsible for handling sales to a well-defined customer segment, (incl. budget responsibility) i.e. drive more business through existing customer portfolio and drive targeted new business.
· Technical advisory for customers regarding product range.
· Facilitate contact between customers and suppliers through visits in Sweden and abroad.
· Proactively map and target potential new customers within industrial solutions.
· Responsible for cooperation with selected suppliers.
· Coaching of colleagues about the suppliers and the products he/she is responsible for.
· Continuous evaluation of product range focusing on potential supplements.
· Keep updated on market prices for the product range
· Participate in events, seminars, trade fairs and exhibitions etc.
· Continuously keep your management updated on sales development, new suppliers and issues of importance to the company.
· Provide monthly updates on pipelines, forecasts and visits.
· Identify clients with smaller volume needs within the Household/Cleaning segment.
Workplace: Alsiano offices near Gothenburg or home office anywhere in Sweden
Annual travelling days: approx. 50-60 days.
Profile
You are ambitious, proactive and possess a natural high drive. You are customer oriented and understand what it takes to develop and maintain trustworthy and long-term relationships with your clients. This means, you go the extra mile to find solutions for your clients and partners. In short, you do what it takes to become their trusted advisor.
You are a self-starter and thrive on working independently and constantly pursue opportunities in the market.

Qualifications
- Minimum 3 years industry experience within coatings, agro/pet food, household/cleaning industry (experience within other industry segments will also be considered)
- Proven sales record with an in-depth knowledge of the local market
- Skilled in sales and international business
- Strong ability to close deals and manage key accounts
- Independent, proactive and creative mindset to identify and develop new business opportunities.
