Who are you

A transformation maven with the skills to help clients meet the challenges of digitization. Your human superpower? Using your know-how, creativity, and analytical powers to solve clients’ most complex business problems to help their companies do more. You’re as comfortable leading projects and teams as you are diving into the details of workstreams and closing the complex deals. Additionally, you have the communication and people skills to inspire teams to bring their A-game.

As an AWS Delivery Lead with Sales Focus, you will be responsible for driving transformational projects with our largest clients through commercial closure and leading delivery of projects and programs with complex multi-geography solutions.

In addition, you will be part and help to drive our AWS country community at Accenture. You will promote our ability to enable change with 360o value for customers from multiple dimensions, including sustainability and inclusive & diversified talent development also through AWS prism.

This is an area of high career growth potential for individuals with strong technology and services sales backgrounds, who are willing to invest in training to build specialist knowledge in the underlying AWS technologies to effectively shape solutions with our clients.

What responsibilities will you have?

  • Develop relationships with key buyers and decision-makers at new and/or existing clients

  • Working with Client Account Leads and Industry Leads to understand the context to develop compelling value propositions to take the client

  • Build trust with AWS counterparts to bring best of AWS content and competencies

  • Lead the deal - including qualification, shaping, defining win strategy

  • Lead the overall solutions shaping using your knowledge of the AWS platform, bringing together Accenture & AWS specialists as required to compliment the overall solution.

  • Manage the opportunity from sales pursuit to close, with support depending on deal size.

  • Facilitate the negotiations and closing activities.

  • Set up and lead effective governance and program management processes to manage the solution, decision making, deliverables, stage gates, schedule, resources, and costs.

  • Monitor and manage team goals and performance and ensure team understands how they align and relate to broader business goals and strategies.

  • Deep-dive existing and potential problem areas, develop and communicate corrective action and mitigation plans, and drive follow-through to successful resolution. Be hands-on when needed to help your team solve problems and get through crunch periods.

  • Help your teams connect the dots and collaborate effectively by understanding and sharing solution and delivery integration points across functional workstreams and technical disciplines.

  • Develop reasonable integrated project plans and drive teams to on-time and cost with quality completion. Identify client and other responsibilities and commitments up-front and hold them as accountable as you hold your Accenture teams.



Qualifications


What skills & experience are we looking for?

  • Experience of leading, winning, negotiating, and closing technology sales pursuits in the cloud, infrastructure, and applications space, ideally using AWS technologies.

  • Demonstrating the ability to assess complex problems and create solutions that are market competitive.

  • Coordinating internal approvals (including initial qualification) and sales team resources; manage solution/proposition development, client interactions and relevant client demonstrations,

  • Facilitating the negotiations and closing activities.

  • Proven experience in end-to-end delivery of complex solutions

  • Good technology understanding and industry experience

  • Working experience of applying Agile/SAFe methodologies while delivering technology solutions

  • Experience implementing at least one complex E2E program

  • Experience working with global delivery teams across multiple locations

  • Proven experience in shaping and delivering solutions for the Industry

  • Good to have experience in any of the following Industries like (Banking, Life Science, Industrial Products and Services, Communication and Media, Public Sector, Retail)
