The Position
As Key Account Manager for our Rare Disease portfolio you will have national sales responsibility and report directly to the Sr. Director of Market Access & Public Affairs (MAPA), Insulin & Rare Disease Business Unit and be part of the MAPA, Insulin & Rare Disease Business Unit located in Ørestaden, Copenhagen. The unit is responsible for developing the therapeutic areas we operate within,and the objective of this position will be to drive the rare disease portfolio strategy together with the cross-functional team, including the rare disease business lead, medical affairs and public affairs. Your main responsibilities will include:

The Position
As Key Account Manager for our Rare Disease portfolio you will have national sales responsibility and report directly to the Sr. Director of Market Access & Public Affairs (MAPA), Insulin & Rare Disease Business Unit and be part of the MAPA, Insulin & Rare Disease Business Unit located in Ørestaden, Copenhagen. The unit is responsible for developing the therapeutic areas we operate within,and the objective of this position will be to drive the rare disease portfolio strategy together with the cross-functional team, including the rare disease business lead, medical affairs and public affairs. Your main responsibilities will include:
- Achievement of agreed territory sales, activity targets and market shares.
- Responsibility for the establishment, implementation and subsequent monitoring of a territory action plan, according to set business goals and plans.
- Driving rare disease market developing projects based on market insights, ensuring adherence to brand promotional message, profiling and positioning, managing relationships with key stakeholders and explore new partnership opportunities.
- Proactively feeding back information from key customers to relevant functions (colleagues in sales, marketing, market access and medical affairs) in Novo Nordisk, leverage cross-sales relationships and synergies with other internal NN sales units.
- Being responsible for transfer of correct product information between NN and customers, participate in, and contribute effectively to, regional meetings, national and international conferences and cross-functional project groups.

Qualifications
You are our ideal candidate if you:
- Have a minimum of 3 years of higher education in addition to nurse exam, pharmacist exam, LIF Education or MD background.
- Have prior experience as either a sales representative or project manager with a focus on the Danish Secondary Care setting, experience from the health care sector, or pharmaceutical industry. Prior experience within at least one of the therapeutic areas within the Rare Diseases portfolio is considered a key advantage.
- Are customer centric, focused on what matters, high performing, a leader, and with a strong ability to build relationships, trust, and commitment from both internal and external stakeholders across cultures & function.
- Are a team player with solid Business & Industry understanding and experience in Innovating in a changing environment.
- Are fluent in Danish and English (spoken and written understanding at high level to understand published medical studies and training material).
