The Position

As National Key Account Manager your job is to increase the knowledge and usage of Novo Nordisk´s insulins, and related devices and digital health tools. Your main responsibilities will include:

  • Contributing to the development, implementation and monitoring of the national insulin business plan.
  • Anticipating and adapting the account-based plans according to customer needs and market insights.
  • Analyse, measure and track performance.
  • Developing and maintaining our customer database through accurate call reporting.
  • Excelling in making things happen through diligent and timely execution and follow-up.

Qualifications

You are our ideal candidate for this position if you:

  • Have a minimum of 4 years of experience in sales or another relevant in-field function. Prior experience within the Danish Secondary Care setting is considered a key advantage.

  • Have a proven track record within sales and account management.
  • Have strong networking, sales and analytic skills.
  • Are a team player, who is also comfortable working independently
  • Are not afraid to adapt to a changing business environment, e.g., leverage new sales channels
  • Are fluent in Danish and English; both spoken and written.

About the Department

Our Rare Disease Business Unit is a fast-growing franchise in Novo Nordisk with a very attractive late-stage product pipeline. We are a small entrepreneurial team, dynamic, with high energy and a strong group approach. We evolve the commercial model by exploring future customer and patient needs. maintaining focus on medical education in all our engagements, serving as thought leaders and the key source of knowledge and skills. As our new colleague, you will play a key role in the Rare Disease Business Unit, and we look forward to our collaboration. In the Danish Rare Disease Business Unit, we strive to build and foster strong relationships with physicians, nurses and relevant patient organisations within the current therapeutic areas that we operate in (insulin-treated diabetes, haemophilia, growth hormone deficiency and vaginal atrophy) and you will be playing a major role in securing we deliver on our key strategic objectives of our 2025 plan.
