David Kennedy Recruitment, Bangor, Northern Ireland, is looking for a Senior Vendor Manager, Brno, Czech Republic.

My client is a leading online Travel Agency specialising in fare comparisons, airline bookings and many other amazing features. This role will see you part of a global Vendor Management team, managing up to 5 direct reports and working directly with 4 main Vendors across 10 locations spanning from India, China, Ukraine and Philippines.

You will manage the vendor/strategic partner relationship for the outsourced customer service operations. You will ensure that your customer contact channels performance is optimised to meet business objectives, and that brand-based decisions are achieved elevating the customer experience whilst delivering commercial commitments.

Main Responsibilities

  • You will maintain and nurture relationships with strategic vendors
  • You will ensure compliance with vendor governance strategy
  • You will facilitate and maintain relationships between strategic vendors and internal resources, including all internal stakeholders and executive leadership to drive proper alignment on business and operational topics
  • You will maintain a structured vendor performance management framework across the your vendor portfolio
  • You will communicate clear and concise vendor performance management metrics, running effective vendor management dashboards
  • You will understand service levels and their relationships to vendor pricing
  • You will conduct regular Vendor business reviews to ascertain performance against contractual obligations
  • You will develop regular reports on service milestones, execution and risk, and inform internal customers, vendors and management of activities and progress through regular written and verbal communication

Requirements

  • Proven Contact Centre reporting skills and insights; including but not limited to contact volume and reason analysis, learning needs analysis, early warning processes etc ideally in IT/Tech/Travel industry
  • Have an effective numeracy skills with strong commercial acumen
  • strong communication, influencing and negotiating ability
  • experience of driving third party performance and delivery
  • proven experience of operating in a fast-paced, demanding and evolving environment
  • self-starter, capable of delivering a heavy workload and pursuing solutions with minimal supervision
  • solid process management skills, with the ability to handle multiple vendors and multiple contracts, as well as a wide range of tasks
  • ability to think both strategically and tactically with strong attention to detail
  • communicate across boundaries, build collaboration and networks - maintaining supportive and honest relationships with all partners

Specific role requirement (essential)

  • ability to work across different cultures and to respect their values and to look at things a third person perspective
  • ability to guide and mentor vendor team regarding BPO (business process outsourcing) vendor management
  • Excellent English language skills (both written & spoken), additional languages will be an advantage
  • Please note full eligibility and abiltity to work unrestricted in Czech Republic & travel outside Europe is a must
