My client is a leading online Travel Agency specialising in fare comparisons, airline bookings and many other amazing features.
This role will see lead a global Vendor Management team, managing up to 5 direct reports and working directly with 4 main Vendors across 10 locations spanning from India, China, Ukraine and Philippines.
Responsible for managing relationships with the strategic vendor portfolio across the end to end CS landscape. Taking ownership and developing relationships with those vendors who supply sector products and services to the organisation, ensuring that KPI metrics are met or exceeded. Development and implementation of a professional strategic vendor management capability within the business. Ensuring vendors provide flexibility and value for money.

Main Responsibilities
- Establish and own end-to–end detailed tracking and control processes for headcount, capacity, and billing reconciliation across global operation
- Provide leadership to collect, consolidate, and analyse operational data, including preparing internal reporting deliverables and analysing trends & drivers
- Prepare and deliver periodic exec-level updates on status, insights and trends to help inform and guide business decisions
- Partner closely with multiple cross-functional teams to understand capacity, headcount, location and strategy
- Mitigate capacity risks and provide capacity levers by managing dependencies across multiple operating units and sites. Clearly communicate opportunities and site strategies
- Work closely with all stakeholders to identify, lead, and remediate supplier performance issues as they relate to contractual/financial obligation
- Promotes the ongoing education of operations personnel as to the nature of Global Vendor Management including contribution to SOPs, training materials
- Identify issues and emerging risks related to vendors, solutions, and products and bring visibility to appropriate senior leaders to incorporate into strategic planning
- Go-to person for your business units and leadership regarding vendors supporting both projects and day to day operations
Requirements
- Proven Contact Centre Operational Management, reporting skills and insights; including but not limited to contact volume and reason analysis, learning needs analysis, early warning processes etc ideally in IT/Tech/Travel industry
- Have an effective numeracy skills with strong commercial acumen
- strong communication, influencing and negotiating ability
- experience of driving third party performance and delivery
- proven experience of operating in a fast-paced, demanding and evolving environment
- self-starter, capable of delivering a heavy workload and pursuing solutions with minimal supervision
- Experience in site planning & billing (P&L)
- solid process management skills, with the ability to handle multiple vendors and multiple contracts, as well as a wide range of tasks
- communicate across boundaries, build collaboration and networks - maintaining supportive and honest relationships with all partners
Specific role requirement (essential)
- The ability to rapidly learn, administer, and champion new systems in support of vendor management
- Willing to serve as a strategic individual contributor, joining ad hoc teams for limited durations to accomplish specific outcomes
- Excellent English language skills (both written & spoken), additional languages will be an advantage
- Proactive in understanding and staying up-to-date on the current projects in progress, projects in pipeline, and operational issues. Similarly, must stay up-to-date with market/sector trends
- A true team player with a can-do attitude, setting the bar high and holding others accountable
- Risk analysis skills
- Please note full eligibility and ability to work unrestricted in Czech Republic & travel outside Europe is a must
