As our new Security Operations Specialist (SecOps), you will become part of Security & Identity Access Management (S&IAM), where you will have a wide range of responsibilities in operational security and security incident management. Among other things, your work tasks will include:

Furthermore, you must want to take operational responsibility while, on other occasions, serving as an advisor to different parts of the organisation on matters of IT security and operations.

As our new Security Operations Specialist (SecOps), you will become part of Security & Identity Access Management (S&IAM), where you will have a wide range of responsibilities in operational security and security incident management. Among other things, your work tasks will include:
- collecting and analysing logs from our available sources (SIEM, networks and other applications)
- setting up alarms and ensuring a correct flow of security incident management through our ITSM system
- adjusting Managed Detection & Response (MDR) solutions in cooperation with our suppliers
- ensuring internal/external security incident management, with a focus on guaranteeing compliance with the EU-wide NIS2 directive
- investigating security incidents and functioning as the primary incident manager in the event of any incidents
- documenting and utilising previous incidents in the development of future processes
- participating in contract changes, tenders and continuous cooperation with suppliers
- carrying out regular security assessments to ensure best practices and compliance with regulatory requirements.
Do you have experience in operational security and security incident management?
There are multiple paths to the role of SecOps. We imagine that you have a relevant educational background along with:
- previous experience in operational security and security incident management
- a knowledge of the MITRE ATT&CK framework or a comparable framework
- a practical understanding of scripting and automation
- experience with Endpoint Detection & Response (EDR) and SIEM tools
- an understanding of regulatory requirements (e.g., the NIS2 directive)
- a knowledge of international standards such as ISO27001, NIST, and CIS18.
Furthermore, you must want to take operational responsibility while, on other occasions, serving as an advisor to different parts of the organisation on matters of IT security and operations.
