The Opportunity
We currently have a job opening for a software architect with extensive programming experience and with an ability to keep an overview of a complex software system. The control system of the robot is spread over several hardware units/networks and as a software architect you will become involved with the overall system design. Rope Robotics can offer a progressive work environment with a broad range of responsibilities. You will be a part of a small and efficient team where the distance from idea to action is short. As a software architect you will work closely with our founders Hans and Martin, and together with the other stakeholders in the project.

You need to be a good listener and like working with people. You can take on responsibility independently and have a hands-on approach. Finding a solution today rather than tomorrow should always your mantra, while always keeping the big picture in mind.

The Job:
- Software architect for the largest robot project in Denmark
- Be responsible for the architectural design of the products roadmap
- Improving the code quality both through leading by example and by ensuring that a style guide is made and followed
- Be part of discussion with hardware and operation teams about what is feasible
- Working in a diverse software role which can involve everything from imbedded software to interface design and machine learning.
Who are we looking for?

Skills and personal competencies:
- 5+ years of experience as a software developer on a larger solution
- Experience writing Python or other industrial software languages (preferably object-oriented)
- You have experience with the architect role
- You have a master’s degree or equivalent within the area of software/computer science and long hands-on experience developing solutions
