The Position As our (Senior) Data Scientist, you will be part of a team tasked with translating the requirements of use-cases from a business point of view, into advanced analytics solutions. This will be backed up by thorough and iterative data wrangling and model exploration. Furthermore, you will be responsible to: Drive the development of Machine Learning solutions, to enable sustainable data injection, data processing, Machine Learning modelling and outputs serving, aimed at providing business partners with actionable insights through Proof of Concept (PoC) and Minimum Viable Product (MVP)
Ensure analytics models and Machine Learning pipelines’ interpretability and replicability
Improve our team’s efficiency by optimizing and automating current processes
Onboard stakeholders of our AI journey and together with the team, ensure derived insights are being applied to key business processes
Strengthen our in-house capabilities in the space of data science and the use of best technology practices through knowledge sharing with colleagues
The position is located in our HQ in Bagsværd (Greater Copenhagen area), with flexible working possibilities.
Qualifications
We are looking for a candidate who has: +3 years of experience (5+ years for the Senior Data Scientist position) of hands-on experience within implementing data science solutions, Machine Learning & other Advanced Analytics projects, preferably in a corporate finance setting
Master of Science in Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, Economics or similar.
Proficient knowledge and strong hands-on experience in developing and applying predictive and prescriptive modelling in Python is a must and familiarity with other programming languages is a plus
Data management knowledge (e.g. SQL) and SAP experience as a plus
Preferably, experience in cloud computing, e.g. Azure and data bricks and Azure Machine Learning
Ideally, fundamental knowledge of corporate finance
On a personal level, you have strong self-learning and communication skills, with ability to collaborate across business and technology functions. Furthermore, you are a team player and enjoy sparring with peers and co-workers to drive insights and provide recommendations on existing business process optimization. We are a highly diverse team consisting of data scientists, BI developers, project managers, and partners from different countries.
