Can you continuously develop and govern LEO Pharma’s future cloud foundation?
LEO Pharma is on a digital transformation journey where use of cloud technologies are primary catalysts for the business strategy execution. And that is why we need you.
In this newly established role, you will become the primary driver for establishing and managing LEO Pharma’s Cloud Foundation (Azure & AWS). You empower the business areas and projects across the global LEO Pharma organisation to run cloud-based workloads while ensuring the required level of security and compliance for a regulated business as LEO Pharma is. You will have great influence regarding your own role as well as our future setup.
Enabler for the business
Your job is to enable the business to work smarter and more efficient by intelligent use of cloud as a platform for PaaS and IaaS workloads. You will work closely with the Service Delivery Manager and the architect team to execute on the digital initiatives in the business strategy. To succeed, you must understand cloud best practices around architecture, security, compliance, monitoring, networking and governance. Your primary tasks will be to:
Implement and maintain the LEO Pharma’s Cloud foundation Collaborate with fellow engineers to constantly improve the LEO Cloud Foundation in alignment with the architect team for Technologies & Cloud Work with automation environments and Azure DevOps Write shell code/scripts, Powershell scripts etc. Conduct cloud infrastructure performance analysis Perform bugfixes, maintenance, and upgrades of existing systems using solutions in accordance with standard operating procedures Assist in research, selection, and implementation of relevant new software platforms hosted on the LEO Cloud Foundation Create, maintain and improve technical operational work instructions Provide work guidance to less experienced personnel
3-5 years’ experience from working with cloud solutions in complex corporations
As you will become our primary Subject Matter Expert within your area of expertise you must thrive in a role with major responsibility where you are the proactive driver of progress. This calls for your overview and your ability to clearly communicate Why, What, How, Who and When – in a way that makes sense to people without your own expertise. Additionally, you must be highly structured in order to develop standardised and automated solutions.
An IT related education at minimum BSc level or similar. 3-5 years’ experience from working with cloud solutions in complex corporations Solid experience with DevOps and relevant tools Good skills in programming, scripting and automation End-to-end understanding of cloud infrastructures and services Knowledge in designing and building environments using Azure and AWS services. Relevant Azure and AWS Training and potentially Certifications Strong communication skills with an ownership acumen – you are a team player A forward thinking mindset.

You will join a team with approx. 15 colleagues at the LEO Pharma HQ in Ballerup, greater Copenhagen. We are Service Delivery Managers, Operational Delivery Managers and IT Operation Specialists.
