As our new Systems Administrator you will be working on the fundamental Coloplast ERP platform based on IBM Server (AS400), SAN and Integrations (IBM IIB) technology. Our ERP system is based on JD Edwards form Oracle.
The team
You will be part of our IT Global Systems Team, where we are 8 great colleagues who value an informal and fun work environment. At the same time, we take great pride in supporting and helping each other in our daily assignments.
Our team is on an exciting journey to drive reduction of interrupt work (firefighting) and delivering a corresponding increase in service quality. Taking part in that, you will gain deep technical knowledge of our services as well as insights into how a big global company runs IT deliveries.
Dealing with queries and problems when incidents occur, the team work with a great sense of urgency and make quick decisions to get the systems up and running. Being part of the team, you will work on IT systems used by thousands of Coloplast colleagues worldwide. Additionally, you get the opportunity to investigate and deep dive into the subject matter, dealing with the issues and make actions to prevent similar issues from happening again going forward.
The job
The main responsibility as System Administrator is to support the operations and maintain Coloplast ERP environment - implemented in a dual data center setup with data mirrored on 2 different locations. You furthermore contribute to ensuring that our day-to-day operational deliveries live up to the SLA agreements.
Additional tasks include:
You have a close cooperation with the project managers supporting them with timely feedback and status reporting regarding the ongoing activities you are involved in.

The job

Additional tasks include:
- Identify potential operational enhancements (e.g. performance, surveillance, quick fix processes)
- Identify areas with no formalized processes and improvements for the existing ones
- Look out for capacity issues and suggest relevant changes
- Timely notification of new HW-investments
- Ensure up-to-date operational documentation
- Participate in an operational on-call rotation
You have a close cooperation with the project managers supporting them with timely feedback and status reporting regarding the ongoing activities you are involved in.
Your qualifications
To succeed in this role you:
- Have experience working with IBM Integration technology (IIB), IBM SAN (9100 flash) technologies and AS400 (Power 9). Linux and DB2 knowledge and experience with JD Edwards is considered a plus.
- Are skilled in mastering Best Practice within IT Operations
- Enjoy the benefits of process and methodical improvement
- Are fluent in English, both written and spoken
