LEO Pharma has embarked on a very ambitious journey to become the world’s preferred dermatology care partner – and that is why we need you. To succeed we need to digitalize, and the foundation of digitalization is technology and cloud.
The journey will encompass increased digitalization, acquisitions and transformations which all require strong architectural involvement and direction-setting. Therefore, we are currently strengthening Global IT within Technology, Architecture and Innovation.
You will help create a digital foundation which will make a significant difference for people with serious skin diseases all over the world. Currently we are looking into our ways of working, and improving our ability to deploy and adopt cloud-based services.
The job
You will take lead in your focus area aligning with two domain architects in Technology and Cloud. Together with the domain architects, Global IT and our vendors you will prepare LEO Pharma for the future.
Responsibilities:
Accountable for development and maintenance of the overall current and vision architecture for technology and cloud Create and maintain a roadmap for our front- and back-end infrastructure with domain architects, Service Delivery Managers and the Business Relationship Manager Approach initiatives with a consultancy mindset and clearly communicate the business value of our technology roadmap Take ownership of cloud services adoption and automation needed to ensure that we can keep up with the need for change in LEO Pharma Set the direction for our strategic technology platform vendors. Microsoft and ServiceNow Further develop Enterprise Architecture in LEO Pharma which includes active participation in the architecture board and taking lead on EA initiatives Contribution to our IT architecture governance Research of new technology/architecture trends that may be applied to LEO Pharma Engage as solution architect and improve templates, standards and reference architectures
Your qualifications
You have substantial experience from working with cloud-based solutions, infrastructure services and cloud-based solutions in a global organization i.e. with a diversity of stakeholders and technologies at play.
As Lead Architect you are confident and have a level of authority. This includes the ability to communicate complex Information Systems and Technology roadmaps in an easily understandable way. With your experience and understanding of the mechanisms of a large organization you can prioritize and balance activities while leading by example.
Professional Qualifications:
Relevant master’s degree or substantial experience as Lead/Enterprise Architect in a multi-cultural and global company Knowledge of business models, operating models, development models, cost/benefit analysis, budgeting and risk management Practical experience with front-end/back-end infrastructure, business ecosystems, SaaS, IaaS, PaaS, SOA, APIs, open data and microservices EA framework certification (TOGAF, Zachman) is desired at practitioner level but pragmatically applied Ability to balance foundational and innovation EA development Excellent English communication skills, written as well as verbally Strong analytical, presentation, communication and facilitation skills

Experienced and accomplished at working with IT and business executives, and - if needed - able to push back in a professional and diplomatic manner Natural ability to translate business requirements into functional/technical requirements and communicate the output in a way that can be understood Vendor and technology agnostic – focus on what is the best fit for the company in alignment with principles and strategy International mindset – enjoys working in a global organization with a multitude of cultural backgrounds Thrives in a fun, ever changing and fast-paced environment.
You furthermore have a passion for doing things the right way, promote the holistic and long-term architecture mindset as well as the Enterprise Architecture principles in Global IT and LEO Pharma

At LEO Pharma headquarters in Ballerup we are a larger team of 30 architects who develop and maintain the Information System and Technology roadmap for all Global IT solutions in LEO. You will be part of a team of 8 Lead Architects in Enterprise Architecture each with a specific focus area. You will work in close collaboration with people covering the end-to-end IT landscape – all with a passion for leveraging technology and data.
