The position As a Statistician, you will support manufacturing processes and analytical methods in BRD together with five competent statistician colleagues and three student assistants. You will collaborate with colleagues with various backgrounds and expertise across the organisation to solve production related tasks using statistical methods.
You can anticipate a broad variety of tasks, including: Delivering and presenting statistical solutions and use industrial statistics methods such as general explorative statistics, multivariate statistics, design of experiments, analysis of mixed models, fault detection and diagnosis through statistical process monitoring. Drive or participate in data science-based optimization and improvement projects. Writing documentation of solutions to comply with regulatory standards. Developing and teaching courses and workshops in statistical topics. Support cross-functional problem solving on urgent production issues. You are curious by nature in terms of new methods and technologies and have an interest in areas such as machine learning, digitalisation, and automation.
Qualifications An academic degree within Statistics, Mathematics, Data Science, engineering or similar Experience in software/programming language such as SAS, JMP, Python or R Knowledge of machine learning methods and their implementation Good communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with stakeholders at all levels across the organisation Comfortable in documenting your work in written reports Full professional proficiency in English As a person you have a systematic and data driven approach and can juggle many different tasks at the same time. You understand that good solutions balance business needs and quality requirements and can collaborate closely with stakeholders to ensure this.

About the department
Biotech & Rare Disease (BRD) Manufacturing Development & Quality Control has its base in Denmark. We are approximately 500 colleagues who are the end-to-end station for product and process development for all BRD production facilities, driving innovation both when it comes to industry 4.0 technology and expansion of the product portfolio. Our area also includes the Quality Control unit for all BRD products. BRD is part of Novo Nordisk Product Supply, which is a global production network at the forefront of technology and quality production of pharmaceutical products. In BRD we are not only supplying all Novo Nordisk products for Rare Diseases, but also using our competences in Biotech to support the growing efforts into completely new production platforms and therapy areas for Novo Nordisk. We produce our life-saving medicines out of five state-of-the-art production sites in Denmark and United States - covering the entire production value chain where raw materials are cultivated, purified, formulated, filled, assembled in devices, packed, and distributed across the globe.
