As a key member of the team responsible for initiating this new initiative, you will develop and implement vendor management strategies and processes to ensure its success. You will manage relationships with internal stakeholders and external vendors, ensure timely delivery of high-quality Data Management services, and optimise vendor performance to meet business needs. Your responsibilities will also include: Manage relationships with external vendors and performance monitoring against established metrics and KPIs, and develop improvement plans as needed.
Continuously evaluate and improve vendor management processes and tools to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to define project requirements, timelines, and deliverables.
Together with the Data Management oversight team, ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, internal quality processes, and industry standards.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with outsourcing Data Management services and provide regular updates to Data Management Leadership on vendor performance and projects status.
Qualifications
We realise that few people are experts at everything. But if you can nod your head at some of the following attributes then you could be the person, we are looking for: MSc degree in Natural or Technical Sciences (or equivalent theoretical background – please qualify in application)
Minimum of 5 years of experience in vendor management in the pharmaceutical or biotech industry, ideally with a focus on Data Management outsourcing. You have through experience in driving projects, excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
You have a strategic mindset and effective communication skills with a demonstrated ability to navigate a complex stakeholder landscape and ability to manage multiple vendors and projects simultaneously
Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively with cross-functional teams is a necessity.

We are a strategic function to the Data Science organisation. We provide strategic support and part of driving cross functional strategic initiatives. The team consist of engaged self-driven experts with a diversity of scientific backgrounds, such as data science and statistics, programming and in-depth knowledge across Biostatistics and Data Management processes, innovation, automation, digitalization tools and strategy development.
