Job Description
Danfoss Drives is searching for a DevOps Developer to become part of our journey towards continuous integration and delivery. In this role you will be part of global 9-person DevOps framework scrum team split across three sites in Denmark, Finland and U.S. The team is responsible for the DevOps platform, which is supporting more than 100 embedded software developers in automation of toolchains, test automation and processes.
You will identify DevOps improvement needs in order to deliver the right mix of quality and speed, why innovation, SCRUM and the newest technologies are on the top of your mind.
Background and skills
There is more than one way to this position, you may have solid experience within DevOps pipelines, but you can also be a fresh graduate brought up with the right training. Preferably, you have a Bachelor and/or Master degree in Embedded software, IT or computer science. More importantly, you have experience and a strong interest in automation, software development and testing.
If you have experience with the tools listed below, this is a clear advantage. However, most important is the right mindset, why you are flexible and ready for new things.
On a personal level, you are curious and creative, but keep your feet solid on the ground even when working under pressure. You are an expert listener who pushes your peers by asking the right questions, that leads to the best possible solutions in every project. You work with a sense of urgency and are driven by delivering strong results, sometimes on short deadlines. Finally, yet importantly, you are proficient in English both in writing and speech.
