Manufacturing & Global Procurement Converters & Controls Test Engineering
The software team is part of PEX Test that develop test equipment used by Vestas production units globally - our equipment and software have a high impact on production flow and quality. We develop Vestas internal test platform software to be used by automation engineers when designing automated testing of Vestas products such as electronics, converters, electronic panels, hubs and nacelles in serial production. We also develop the centralised backend systems that collect and store data as well as keep track of software versions and configurations on the test equipment locally. Besides from maintaining and developing our extensive backend, you will, for example, develop test software to ensure test capability for new or changed products from Vestas R&D, and you will develop hardware drivers for third part tools like vibrational sensors and other measuring devices that plug into our test platforms.
Responsibilities
Qualifications
We are looking for an experienced object oriented Software Developer with interest in software test. Experience with wind turbines, software development and support, preferably from the production industry is an advantage, but not a requirement. We expect that you have a technical background with focus on programming, e.g. a degree from an Engineering College or a University.
Moreover, we are looking for a candidate with the following competences:

- You maintain and develop software for the test platform
- You maintain and develop structured test of software
- Build, maintain and develop a continuous delivery environment
- Participate in SCRUM and project meetings
- Ensure collection and extraction of test data to be used in test reports, quality reports etc.
Qualifications
We are looking for an experienced object oriented Software Developer with interest in software test. Experience with wind turbines, software development and support, preferably from the production industry is an advantage, but not a requirement. We expect that you have a technical background with focus on programming, e.g. a degree from an Engineering College or a University.
Moreover, we are looking for a candidate with the following competences:
- Solid experience with hands-on development in C# and .Net
- Solid experience with structured software test
- Solid experience with continuous delivery
- Good verbal and written communication skills in English
One or more of the following qualifications is a plus:
- Experience with WPF, web development frameworks
- Experience with web-services/windows services
- Experience with MSSQL
- Experience with data-analysis
- Experience with Jira and SCRUM
- Experience with end-users
