Work cross-functionally in a global setup
Joining the Group Systems IT team in Hedehusene, Denmark, you will be collaborating closely with a chief architect and another senior solution architect and together, you are responsible for our Group systems architecture.
This is a cross-functional position with touchpoints ranging from executives and leaders from Group functions to other managers and specialists from Global IT.
Build standardised system architecture in a dynamic environment
Overall, your role will be to create roadmaps and design solutions supporting the relevant domain processes in the best way, always focusing on standardisation of both IT and processes. Giving the dynamic nature of DSV, rolling out global systems in newly acquired companies is a big part of the role. Another key focus will be system upgrades, rolling out new versions or entire system changes.
You will be responsible for establishing technology strategies, roadmaps and transition plans that enable the execution teams to support current and future business capabilities. In doing so, you will:
Experience with implementing large-scale business projects
We imagine that you are currently in a similar role and that you have several years of experience with implementing business projects - preferably within HR, Compliance and Group systems. Further, you:
Needless to say, you possess excellent communications skills, allowing you to clearly explain complicated matters concisely. This enables higher management to tackle the trade-offs involved and allows/enables you to guide them towards the right decisions. And with a focus on IT quality, you are eager to follow new trends – and you are now afraid to challenge current ways of thinking.

You will be responsible for establishing technology strategies, roadmaps and transition plans that enable the execution teams to support current and future business capabilities. In doing so, you will:
- Build solution roadmap with the responsible IT and business heads
- Develop and share an understanding of the Group domains including their business processes and system requirements
- Be involved in driving the requirements to the DSV Group architecture stemming from the DSV M&A growth strategy
- Assess and incorporate local to global impacts
- Identify new domain trends, use-cases and assess relevance and impact
- Work closely with Enterprise Architecture
- Define and measure domain KPI measures (domain standardisation and domain scalability)
Experience with implementing large-scale business projects
We imagine that you are currently in a similar role and that you have several years of experience with implementing business projects - preferably within HR, Compliance and Group systems. Further, you:
- Have IT architecture design experience
- Most likely have experience from multinational organisations, or have vast experience with large-scale IT architecture
- Are experienced working with requirements gathering, understanding business needs and system design
- Can visualise and present ideas and designs
- Are used to preparing solution designs, continuously identifying new opportunities and improvement initiatives based on new technologies and standards
- Have strong communication skills and are business fluent in English, both verbally and in writing.
