On behalf of Cercare Medical A/S, Randstad is looking for a Senior Software Engineer who is looking for a position with a high purpose and technical influence. The role is focused on product development in the medical software industry, based either on location or remote.
With Cercare Medical, you will be part of a team that specialize in developing medical AI software to the international healthcare industry. By using artificial intelligence to create advanced image analysis from MRI and CT scans, their platform improves the accuracy of radiologic analyses. Ultimately, this provides doctors and clinicians with life-saving information about their patients’ conditions and enables them to diagnose patients faster.
Today, 20 employees are engaged in software development, international sales and marketing, with 12 developers working with back-end and front-end development, machine learning, and data science. The company is internationally focused and has roots in neurologic research at Aarhus University with close ties to universities abroad.
Their offices are located on the sixth floor in the Navitas building at the Aarhus harbour with a supreme view of the city.
You will be working closely with your team in developing and maintaining the back-end of our product line, the Cercare Medical Neurosuite – and with the development, design, and defining of the direction for future products in the pipeline. The role of Senior Engineer also includes technical leadership, architectural decisions and code reviewing.
The development revolves around medical imaging, implementation of technical requirements, performance optimization, delivery, and third-party integrations.

We imagine that you have a background in computer science, software engineering, physics or the like, and that you enjoy the role as a technical specialist. It is required that you have experience with C++ as well as software architecture and formal or informal technical leadership.
As a person, you will fit in well with our team if you thrive in a small, social and delivery-oriented company. It is important that you are self-motivating, that you like to take on assignments of varying intensity and understand how the software you deliver contributes to business.
We operate globally, which necessitates a fluency in English – written as well as spoken.
