The R&D team at Visiopharm is building high-performance machine learning products that can learn, predict and act intelligently alongside healthcare professionals at scale.
The Job
You will join our product-oriented R&D department working in agile teams of data, deep learning, software, and UX experts. With your team, you will work on applied deep learning and computer vision to further strengthen our leading position in diagnostics and quality assessment of pathology samples.
If you are excited by creating state-of-the-art algorithms and bringing machine learning to production, we have the perfect role for you. We seek experienced applied scientists or engineering candidates with both knowledge of deep learning and programming.

The Job

If you are excited by creating state-of-the-art algorithms and bringing machine learning to production, we have the perfect role for you. We seek experienced applied scientists or engineering candidates with both knowledge of deep learning and programming.
Other responsibilities include
- Research, design, implement and evaluate novel algorithms for pathology cancer biomarkers
- Work on end-to-end software systems, creating scalable products for users all over the world.
- Collaborate closely with team members on developing systems from prototyping to production level
- Work closely with software engineering teams
- Improvement of our continuous integration tools and platform.
Our ideal candidate
- Master or Ph.D. degree in computer/data science.
- Significant experience in computer vision, preferably on biological data.
- Significant experience in machine learning and deep learning (PyTorch or TensorFlow)
- Strong coding skills in one or more programming languages (e.g. C++, C#, Python).
- Motivated to work in agile cross-disciplinary teams
- Excellent problem-solving ability
- Be driven by business goals
We also appreciate
- Great curiosity about how pathologists work and how to target applications for their work
- Experience in development of software applications.
- Experience with development tools such as Visual Studio, Git, Jira, teamcity
