You will be part of the Service Delivery Platform focused on streamlining, optimizing, and automating container operations via advanced software solutions. As a Solution Architect you will help define our architectural vision and will work closely with both business and technology to shape the digital backbone of our global container logistics business.
You will be responsible for the architecture within your functional area. Your focus is to design and continuously evolve the architectural boundaries that our engineering teams operate within, and you work closely with our engineering teams, business stakeholders, leadership team, and other architects within Maersk, to carefully evaluate the best technical direction for our platforms and products. You are comfortable working at multiple levels of abstractions, from detailed cloud infrastructure to integration architecture all the way to the more strategic enterprise architectural aspects.
The Service Delivery Platform is a geographically distributed initiative, with world-class engineering teams in Denmark (Copenhagen), Spain (Algeciras), and India (Bangalore, Pune), and end users and stakeholders situated all over the globe - you will be part of this international and diverse organization consisting of highly talented and motivated people from across the world.

• Shape the high level solution architecture of our products, in close collaboration with key stakeholders.
• Investigate and design efficient integration strategies, and help plan and manage the actual implementation of these.
• Support the engineering team with architectural sparring and investigation.
• Achieve a detailed understanding of our system landscape, business domain, and processes, and use this to efficiently guide decision making.
• Continuously stay up-to-date on relevant technologies and use this knowledge to push our architectural ambitions forward.
• An experienced architect, with a broad knowledge of solution architecture, on-prem and cloud infrastructure (we use Microsoft Azure), integration patterns and technologies, and security.
• A self-starter who is able to drive complex and often ambiguous tasks to completion.
• A strong collaborator who is able to effectively manage stakeholders from across the organization.
