Opportunity
Has responsibility for the technical integrity of and scalability of IT
solutions across the enterprise, ensuring design and implementation in
accordance with enterprise guidelines, standards and best practice.We, Warehouse and Distribution Platform product team of Maersk IT, are looking for an experienced solution architect taking responsibilities of warehouse solution design and implementation, to support the business goal of aggressively growing.
The Solution Architect (together with the team) will be responsible for designing and developing a various of solutions for Maersk’s warehouse & distribution business, including (but not limited to) WMS, application integration, data analytics, warehouse automation and so on. He or she needs to support client implementation team to roll out our products. He or she will collaborate with IT Enterprise Architect, developers, security team, business stakeholders to provide global, robust, secure and scalable solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Work with business partners to translate functional requirements into technical requirements.
- Drive the overall application landscape and architecture – Total / End-to-End warehouse and cold chain solutions.
- Participate in the continued definition of our strategies.
- Collaborate with Enterprise Architect to ensure the compliance with overall IT architectural principals.
- Collaborate with security team to provide a secure architecture.
- Participant in cross-functional, cross-discipline architect teams to enhance / set the architectural direction for key business initiatives.
- Share and present architecture to cross-functional teams and executive leadership.
- Develop standards, patterns, best practices for reuse and acceleration. For example, the implementation guideline of Korber WMS, global template design of Korber WMS.
- Guide teams along the way in best practices in development, configuration and implementation.
- Provide technical recommendations to address business needs and drive to resolution.
- Prove out new technologies through proof of concept work.
We Are Looking for
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5+ years of WMS solution development & implementation experiences.
- 5+ years of experience exhibiting architecture knowledge.
- 5+ years of experience with enterprise solutions, such as WMS, WCS, ERP and so on.
- Excellent Written and Verbal skills with people at all levels across the organisation in English
Preferred:
- Deep knowledge and experience with logistics industry.
- In-depth knowledge and experiences of High Jump WMS.
- In-depth knowledge and experiences software engineering / architecting, such as micro services architect, middleware (e.g. WebLogic, WebSphere) etc.
- In-depth knowledge and experiences of cloud technology, database, mobile technologies, messaging / integration etc.
