Technology roadmap responsible and teamplayer
As our team’s primary hardware specialist, you will be responsible for the department technology roadmap, based on vendor roadmaps as our solutions are standard products that we tailor to match our demands. Together with the team’s Product Owner you are also responsible for planning platform refreshes of existing products. Additionally, you will be an integrated part of the team and work hands-on across computer hardware configuration, performance, testing, troubleshooting, investigating and maintaining servers. Your primary tasks will be to:
• Be technology roadmap responsible including coordinating, planning and proposing
platform changes for our current and future hardware products
• Collect, manage, and assess vendor product and component roadmaps
• Install, configure, and maintain Windows based computer hardware
• Plan, define and execute evaluation of components (HDDs, SSDs, CPUs, etc.) for
suitability in our products
• Write scripts to automate all manual tasks plus streamline operational activities
• Evaluate and recommend necessary changes – to enhance performance and
durability
• Support team mates with testing of computer hardware and software features
5+ years of experience as Infrastructure Specialist or equivalent
We are looking for an optimist that believes that behind every problems lies a solution. As our primary specialist within your field of expertise, you must also be able to ensure quality via a structured work approach and your attention to detail. At the same time, you must be able to handle dialogue with a great number of peers, internally and externally. This includes to proactively collect and share information with an open and pragmatic mindset in regards to others opinion. Additionally, your CV comprises:
• 5+ years of experience as Infrastructure Specialist or equivalent within IT or R&D
• Proven experience of computer component and system level configuration and test
plans
• Experience from managing vendor product and component roadmaps
• Experience with Windows patch management
• Experience with Windows images and WIM
• Experience Scripting using PowerShell
• Motivation for working in an agile, scrum setup

Your new workplace is the Milestone headquarters in Brøndby, Copenhagen. Here you will join a small and agile team of Software Engineers and a Test Specialist. We have the complete responsibility of product development and release to manufacturing of Milestone Husky, Network Video Recorders (NVRs).
