Kamstrup develops and produces intelligent measuring equipment for measuring water, electricity and district heating consumption and associated systems for wireless reading of these meters. We are experiencing rapid growth and are therefore seeking two Backend Software Developers with Frontend skills for our Electricity System Software Department.
As Software Developer, you will be joining one of our five Scrum Teams each consisting of professional testers and developers, who all work in alignment with the Scrum framework. Each Scrum Team are responsible for their own user-centric domain. We develop innovative software solutions using the newest technologies in order to become the world’s leading supplier of intelligent metering solutions for energy consumption.
Our department consists of 60+ colleagues, and we are constantly working on how to improve our ability to do Continuous Delivery to become even better at delivering value to our customers through the right software.
A job focusing on innovative metering solutions
As Software Developer, you will be a central player in the development of our system solutions. In cooperation with the team, you will refine, estimate, develop, test and document the features we develop to our customers. To succeed in the job, it is essential that you have experience with all or some of these technologies:
Furthermore, it is an advantage to have experience with a wide range of other technologies and tools such as MongoDB, Docker, Jenkins, Bitbucket/GIT, Gherkin, Gradle, Nunit, NSubstitute and Jira.
Personality matters
We are looking for a person who has a strong professionalism and can contribute to Kamstrup’s success. You have a solid theoretical foundation such as Computer Scientist, Engineer or similar. Preferably, you have at least two years of work experience as a Software Developer.
You take pride in writing high quality code. You focus on quality and master both pragmatic and future oriented thinking. Your ability and desire to work with your colleagues is a prerequisite for creating the best solutions and for great team work. We expect you to be ambitious, responsible and striving towards making a difference.
You communicate fluently English both written and spoken.
