Maersk Container Industry (MCI) is looking for an experienced Cloud Developer to strengthen our internal software team, working on the continued development of our IOT product, Sekstant - an integral part of the future Star Cool Reefer system. As our Cloud Software Developer, you will be part of our Software and Digitalization team which consists of passionate colleagues, including Senior Project Managers, Data Analysts, Refrigeration Specialist, Software- and Hardware Engineers.
The team is working on the development of next generation of refrigerated containers and our new IoT service, Sekstant. Sekstant is a gateway and connectivity solution that is fundamentally changing the way reefer container operators connect with and manage their transport chain. To date, MCI is the only original equipment manufacturer (OEM) offering a connectivity solution of this kind.
In your everyday work, you will experience a high degree of
independence in a flexible work environment where innovation and quality have a very high priority. You will be a trusted colleague and part of an international company of proud and passionate col-leagues, who come from many different backgrounds and cultures.
Your key responsibilities will be to:
• Assist in implementing Sekstant Cloud Systems
• Design & implement solutions based on requirements from Sekstant Product Owner.
• Participate in solving debugging problems with the cloud sys-tem together with Service and Quality departments.
• Document functionality and help customer facing departments in MCI with understanding how the system works.
• Part of the scrum development team to develop new features as part of the sprints
• Communication and coordination with MCI organization in mat-ters regarding Sekstant
• Communication and coordination with Sekstant scrum team consisting of both internal and external team members.
To qualify as Cloud Software Developer you have a relevant education combined with extensive experience in Azure Cloud services and have been working with Github, Jira, Confluence and Azure DevOps
Your proven experience should include:
• Experience with SCRUM is a plus
• Good analytical skills
• Experience in backend software development in C#.
• Experience in database development using Microsoft SQL Server.
• Experience using Microsoft Azure Serverless infrastructure is a plus.
• Experience in frontend software development in the Angular framework using TypeScript is a plus.
We are looking for an analytical coding specialist who has a strong eye for detail. By nature, you are well-organised and good at planning and coordinating your own task portfolio. We expect you to have an open mind and a willingness to learn and share best practice with your colleagues.
