IFOA – istituto formazione Operatori Aziendali, Reggio Emilia, Italy, is - on behalf of a company operating in the field of telecommunications - looking for a 5G RAN Solution Architect.
Full job description:
5G RAN Solution Architect will work in the architectural design for the 5G vRAN systems, facing customer needs and addressing product development and configuration.
The Solution Architect will interface with R&D developer teams, PLMs and customer to define and implement optimized system configuration for lab and field deployments.
Skills:
Language skills:
English, knowledge of Italian will be an asset
Salary:
based on experience, bonus to be agreed
Job location:
Start date as soon as possible.
Permanent contract, full time, 40 hours pr. week.
Shifts and work on days off as per italian national contract.

Full job description:
5G RAN Solution Architect will work in the architectural design for the 5G vRAN systems, facing customer needs and addressing product development and configuration.
The Solution Architect will interface with R&D developer teams, PLMs and customer to define and implement optimized system configuration for lab and field deployments.
Skills:
- 5+ years working experience as a Virtualization/Cloud Engineer
- Deep working knowledge of Docker and Kubernetes
- Working knowledge of Linux: RedHat, CentOS, Debian, etc.
- Experience with RF engineering and/or wireless networks, and Proficiency with 5G (and 4G) architecture
- Advanced knowledge of IP networking including routing and switching
- Strong problem solving and communication skills
Language skills:
English, knowledge of Italian will be an asset
Salary:
based on experience, bonus to be agreed
Job location:
- Bologna/Milano
- Domestic or international travel may be required
Start date as soon as possible.
Permanent contract, full time, 40 hours pr. week.
Shifts and work on days off as per italian national contract.
