If so, apply today as you could be the new Manager we are looking for to join our Logistics Projects team in our Global Contract Manufacturing (GCM) department.
The position
As Manager for Logistics Projects, you will head-up a team of 12 dedicated and skilled Supply Chain Project Managers who are responsible for setting up and defining the supply chain for new products. The team has been established 1 year ago and have grown significantly since then as a direct response to the many new projects entering the organisation. Some of your main responsibilities include to:
  • Ensure that new supply chains can be setup efficiently, are robust and is smoothly handed over to operations
  • Play a central role in defining best practice of how to execute projects within the team, securing collaboration across business units and optimizing and preparing our processes for the future
  • Engage with a broad variety of stakeholders to gain business insights, build relations and execute according to agreements and expectations
  • Set direction, demonstrate inclusive leadership, motivate and empower your team to ensure high performing and engaged employees
  • Role model our behavioural goals and drive continuous improvement projects.
  • Qualifications
    To be considered for this position, we expect you to:
  • Hold a master’s degree within Supply Chain Management, Engineering or any other relevant field
  • Possess a substantial supply chain or logistic background
  • Have a previous experience in mentoring, coaching, or developing a team
  • Be fluent in English, both written and spoken.
  • As a person, you possess strong communication skills. You thrive in working in an environment with changing priorities and are motivated by optimising and defining best practices. As a people manager you are empathetic, take a genuine interest in people and in making a team perform optimally. Finally, you must have strong work ethic and willingness to take responsibility for your own learning. About the Department
    GCM is overall responsible for Novo Nordisk’s outsourced manufacturing – sourcing Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients and semi-finished products for Novo Nordisk production and delivering finished products to customers world-wide. Our aim is to unleash the full potential of sustainable external manufacturing to reach more patients faster through flexible production and strong relations. In GCM Logistics we are responsible for purchasing and planning of products from our Contract Manufacturing Organisations (CMOs) and setting up the Supply Chain for new CMOs. The department consist of 28 highly motivated and talented colleagues but is currently growing as GCM is playing an increasingly important role in bringing new and exciting products to our patients.
