This is a unique opportunity for you to be part of the Ambu Global Supply Chain team in an exciting key role as Head of Supply Chain Development. We are looking for a new colleague to join our team on the journey of growing and improving Global Supply Chain.
Ambu is an international and inspiring company with ambitious growth targets. We develop, produce and sell medical devices that enable doctors and nurses to save lives on a daily basis.
You will join the Global Supply Chain Team, which currently comprises of 12 experienced and dedicated colleagues with a broad background within Planning, logistics, warehousing, and Project handling. You will report to the VP Global Supply Chain and work closely with stakeholders within Ambu, such as our manufacturing sites but also key stakeholders: Sales, R&D, Product management and finance. Besides this you will have a wide range of responsibilities and reach out to our Internal manufacturing’s sites across the globe.
The Global Supply Chain team works out of Ambu’s headquarters in Ballerup.

The Global Supply Chain team works out of Ambu’s headquarters in Ballerup.
Your main responsibilities will be the following:
- Gather, prioritize, and Project manage the strategic SC project portfolio across Ambu
- Ensure high impact in project execution and adherence to agreed timelines across the strategic SC project portfolio in the D2C supply chain
- Coordinate and align with the functional areas and key stakeholders across Ambu
- Ensure the agreed SC goals and synergies are realized across the full value chain
- Create transparency and structured follow-up on agreed goals and targets
- Establish a best-in-class product launch SC setup
- Active participating in Global Operations projects
- Take ownership of the daily project and product launch activities including own hand-on participation.
- …and naturally manage the local team of 3-4 people
Your background is within Shipping/Distribution with:
- Program & project management experience
- Benefit tracking & reporting experience
- Strong cross-functional stakeholder management, communication, and project management skills
- +8 years' experience with SC strategy & development and program & project management
- Min. a BSc degree in supply chain management, logistics, business administration, engineering, or related
- Strong global end-to-end SC understanding
- High energetic drive, motivation, and accountability
- Fluency in English, both spoken and written
