If so, and you are ambitious, strategic minded with a strong and proven track record within strategic supply chain management, you may be the Senior Supply Chain lead we are looking for to strengthen our team in Strategic Supply Chain & Design. Position We are currently seeking a highly experienced and motivated Senior Supply Chain Lead to join our Strategic Supply Chain & Design department at Novo Nordisk. As a Senior Supply Chain Lead you will be leading the domain of expertise within a Therapy Area driving innovation and improvement of supply chain design while collaborating with key stakeholders to ensure alignment with the overall supply chain strategy. Main responsibilities will include: Overall accountable for Supply Chain Design strategy throughout the product lifecycle within the Therapy Area. Acting as overall professional lead ensuring that SCD Partners, Platform leads and network modelling responsible work towards same strategies and goals Provide professional guidance to Supply Chain Design Leads and Partners through the Long term challenge rounds. Support Supply chain TA Strategy director by performing assessments to drive and influence various TA supply chain strategy decisions Ensure holistic perspectives for supply chain strategies and manufacturing footprint decisions. Proactively aligning and facilitating decision anchoring of strategic supply chain solution across impacted organizational units. Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a Master's degree in Engineering, Business Administration or similar with a focus on Supply Chain Management and a minimum of 10 years of experience in different roles across the supply chain. Manufacturing or commercial supply chain experience is a pre-requisite to be able to comprehend and relate to the entire chain. Other qualifications include: Solid business understanding Strong communication skills Ability to understand and explain complex issues and solutions for senior management Collaborating with colleagues in an engaging and inspiring way Ability to build strong relations, work cross-functionally and internationally Strong analytical skills delivering high output quality Department Objective: The Strategic Supply Chain & Design department is dedicated to creating long-term end-to-end supply chain strategies across products and platforms that serve as guiding principles for global network decisions.
