The position In this role, you will be the direct leader of 8-10 people, including supply planners, supply managers, and supply chain coordinators. The team works with the inbound supply of raw materials for production. Your primary responsibility will be to build and shape a dynamic team that is transitioning from its previous structure and is set to grow to accommodate new members. You will cultivate team dynamics, foster synergy among diverse team members, and promote a sense of belonging and shared purpose. Additionally, you'll take charge of hiring new talent, empower and lead existing team members, and ensure the team operates at its highest potential while encouraging continuous improvement. Developing and implementing sourcing strategies to optimize procurement operations and achieve cost savings.

Supporting the team in managing supplier relationships and negotiating contracts to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of goods and services

Collaborating with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of goods and services to support production schedules.

Ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards for procurement and sourcing, driving GMP mindset and good documentation practice in the team.

Identifying and addressing potential supply chain risks and disruptions.

Last but not least, you will work with our strategic targets, such as improving the speed of implementing raw materials.

Qualifications To be successful in this role, we imagine that you have:

An academic degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.

Several years of experience in inbound supply, e.g. procurement or sourcing, with some years in a leadership role.

Good leadership skills and the ability to manage and develop a team.

Experience negotiating contracts and managing supplier relationships.

Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for procurement and sourcing.

Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

As a person, you can work independently and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. You are structured and detail-oriented, but also good at building relations, and handling multiple stakeholders, both internal and external. About the department The Supply Chain and Procurement team consist of 20-25 dedicated colleagues that cover different areas of responsibilities like: inbound supply, material and supplier implementation, production and capacity planning, procurement, category management, and Warehouse. However, in this position, you will have a high degree of interaction with stakeholders across the whole site.
