We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic engineer who will be working together with a team of experts within user device interaction to develop solutions that make a real difference in the lives of our end users - hearing impaired people and our customers - hearing care professionals.
Your role
In your day to day work you will be part of a SCRUM team practicing the Agile methodology. Our team focus is on end user interaction with our devices as well as related audiological features and DSP.
Your role will involve understanding the current system architecture and system design of the Hearing Instrument Devices, for new feature development as well as ensuring that the new features can be integrated seamlessly into the current system. This includes designing and deploying user device features, rapid prototyping, developing system and platform tests and stakeholder management. It is also crucial that you are diligent and thorough when working with details but that you can maintain a higher level of overview and assess the consequences of your decisions on the solution as a whole.
Your main Responsibilities

We are a medical device company and therefore it´s also important that you have the ability to document and develop solutions of high quality to comply with standards of regulated bodies.
Could we be a match?
We are looking for a person with at least 3 to 5 years of experience with background in psychoacoustics, audiology or biomedical engineering to join our Data, Audiology and Sensor line team.
In order to succeed, it is essential that you have a B.Sc. or M.Sc. in engineering, audiology, psychoacoustics, acoustics or similar.
Experience with audiology, particularly knowledge or experience in working with device interaction, sensors, audio streaming would be a clear advantage.
On the personal side you are structured in your way of working and using guidelines and documentation comes naturally to you. You are self-driven and comfortable with taking initiative to reach out to and manage many stakeholders.
You see yourself as responsible and determined to create technical solutions in a complex and controlled system. You are enthusiastic about user interaction and having a great interest in creating a meaningful audiological experience for our end-users.
