The position
We are looking for a talented candidate to fill the position as EA & Management Assistant to the Vice President & Head of CIO Office in Global IT. You will support the VP and the rest of the management team in a wide range of tasks, including developing organisational strategy, driving organisational change management initiatives, coordinating management activities, preparing and delivering reporting and much more. You will be an active member of the management team interacting with both internal and external stakeholders at several organisational levels.

About the department
CIO Office consists of around 50 employees primarily based at Novo Nordisk Headquarters in Denmark. The main purpose of the function is to support the Chief Information Officer (CIO) and the management team responsible for Global IT in Novo Nordisk. Global IT is the function responsible for all major IT projects, systems, infrastructure and operations. More specifically, CIO Office is comprised of a handful of smaller teams working with Enterprise Architecture, IT Sourcing, IT Finance, IT Processes, IT Academy, IT Strategy and Project implementation and execution. In addition to that, CIO Office is co-ordinating and driving various strategic transformation initiatives, e.g. agile/SAFe implementation, on behalf of Global IT.

Qualifications
You hold a Master’s degree in business administration, engineering, computer science, economics or similar. You have strong strategic, reasoning and analytical skills. You have the ability to effectively plan, prioritise, execute, and follow-up in a proactive and timely manner. You have a flair for numbers and a solid experience in working in a global organisation.

You are self-motivated, results oriented, always raising the bar for yourself. You have strong cross functional- and cross cultural understanding, as well as excellent communication- and people skills. You have a well-structured approach to your tasks, take responsibility, have a high quality mind-set and are capable of maintaining an overview also under time pressure. You are highly independent, flexible and proactive. You are fluent in English (both in speech and in writing) and you are a skilled MS Office user with broader IT skills.
