The Position As a leader of Novo Nordisk Gate Services, your key responsibilities are to successfully deliver and develop high quality services that ensure both employees and guests to Novo Nordisk are greeted and helped in the Novo Nordisk Way, representing our culture, and managing everything with high integrity. Another important aspect of the position is to ensure that the area deliver security incident preparedness and ensure to deliver in accordance with the service levels agreed upon. You will be part of a leadership team and manage a team of skilled security guards Together with your team we expect that you have a strong focus on creating high engagement with a high level of psychological safety. Your main tasks will be to:
  • Lead, develop and run Gate Services.
  • Coach and motivate your employees.
  • Ensure financial follow ups and prepare business cases.
  • Collaborate closely with internal stakeholders.
  • Be a role model and drive a ‘work smarter’ mentality in the team.
  • Keep and drive a high-level quality and security mindset.
  • Moreover, you will seek proactively feedback and use it to continuously improve the services with innovative ideas, including developing the receptions as well as managing budgets and financial reporting. Your primary base will be in Bagsværd however the service runs 24/7 on all sites on Zeeland and although the teams have high capabilities and empowerment to operate the service, it is required of the manager to be available for sparring if needed. Qualifications To succeed in this role, you have:
  • Proven experience from a leadership position combined with 3-5 years of people management.
  • Experience with budgets and creating business case.
  • Experience with digitalisation and automation is an advantage.
  • Strong communication skills in Danish and English (both written and spoken).
  • We expect that you have great interpersonal skills complimented with interest in leadership and leading from a distance. Moreover, you love setting direction, engaging others, prioritising according to strategic aspirations and/or stakeholder management. You are interested in a continuously developing both the services and the team, possess proven coaching and feedback skills. You are an experienced communicator and cooperate seamlessly in a vast variety of stakeholder interactions and line of business. Finally, you must have excellent planning skills and are used to work in a structured manner with an agile mind-set. You are result-oriented and persistent. About the Department Frontline Security is responsible for delivering security to all Novo Nordisk sites in Denmark and a part of Corporate Facilities. The Gate Services team consist of 30 professional security guards working in 24/7 in a rolling roster plan. In Corporate Facilities, we ensure well-functioning corporate infrastructure.
