As Director of BI & Analytics, you must first and foremost enjoy leadership; being able to set the direction for the function across, and the team in particular. The teams currently consist of five employees. You will actively participate in identifying and prioritizing new BI initiatives across PSQIT and ensure that everyone in the team has the sufficient support, engagement and tools required to succeed in their jobs.As the Director of Business Intelligence & Analytics in PSQIT Finance, you will have the following responsibilities: Lead and guide a team of five employees (with the potential for future expansions), in setting the direction for the function and actively participating in identifying and prioritizing new BI initiatives across PSQIT. Take business ownership of the data and analytics platform leveraged across PSQIT, translating business challenges into data-driven insights using tools such as SQL, Alteryx, and Tableau. Ensure continued support of the current environment, including critical processes such as month-end closing and budgets, while staying updated on industry trends and best practices in BI and analytics. Enhance our current data sources, models, and dashboards, while managing data governance to ensure accuracy and reliability of our BI tools and PSQIT Finance data assets. Develop a strong data foundation, ensuring a robust data ecosystem and strong data excellence to support automated processes. Drive our digital transformation journey and contribute to finance value creation through high-quality business insights. Stay updated on developments within the BI & Analytics field and ensure our data and analytics platform is fit for purpose and up to date. Explore new use cases by identifying opportunities from different projects, workshops, and challenges within our increasingly complex organization and manufacturing setup. Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you should have the following qualifications:
Master's degree in information technology, engineering, economics, or a similar field. Extensive experience working with end-to-end BI solutions. Proven ability to manage complex data projects from concept to implementation, preferably within a data/BI team. Strong leadership skills and the ability to manage and develop teams. The team has a broad competency base with several BI partners, consisting of both technically heavy developers as well as partners with strong finance acumen and a focus on digitalization.Our ambition is to build a Center of Excellence for the global PSQIT Finance community, by securing a unique understanding of finance and production data and generating business insights. This is enabled by creating automated, scalable, and efficient BI solutions with robust data models resulting in intuitive dashboards and reports, helping our various stakeholders and customers drive performance, support decision-making and secure value creation.Working at Novo Nordisk
