Our growing company is seeking to hire an Administrative Assistant, who can keep an overview, coordinate and communicate between our design team at Glyn Peter Machin – design studio and our suppliers.

You will be part of a dedicated team, who works with the design of interior and exterior furniture and who needs a highly responsible person to keep an overview, coordinate and communicate with and between several suppliers and the team, as well as keeping our production schedule updated at all times. This can be a hectic job at times and requires focus. You will need the ability to work alone within your area, as well as being part of the team as you are part of the whole production process.

In order to succeed, you will need to be an Excel wizard, have excellent communication skills in English and Danish, have the ability to be pro-active, take responsibility and at all times communicate. Documentation is extremely important, as well as following up on deadlines.

Responsibilities:

  • Production overview in Excel (update, so it’s correct and useful at all times)
  • Keeping track of supplier’s deadlines (investigate, communicate and follow up)
  • Clear communication and instructions with the design team in regards to production
  • Assist with other administrative tasks if needed

Requirements:

  • Excel wizard – you are highly skilled in Excel
  • You like having 100 % overview all the time
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Previous experience in a coordinating and extrovert role is required
  • You have a positive attitude and like being a teamplayer
  • You want to provide great service

Company profile:

Glyn Peter Machin is a design and development studio located at Holmen, Copenhagen. This job is based in Copenhagen, where we have a 1.100 m2 showroom, design team and administration. Our working hours are from 8.30 hrs.
