As Executive Assistant to the Chief Transformation Officer, you will be a valued member of the leadership team at the heart of Maersk’s journey to transform the industry and become the global integrator of container logistics.

You will be the trusted sparring partner of the Chief Transformation Officer and an active member of her leadership team, giving you a deep insight into Maersk’s strategy, business, and organization, as well as a voice at the table to influence change and drive engagement.

With stakeholders and colleagues at all levels of the organization and across geographies, you will build a robust global network and have significant exposure to top management.

Key responsibilities


Your priorities are to ensure the Chief Transformation Officer’s time is used to maximum effect – thereby accelerating and improving her ability to deliver on her priorities – and to assist with structuring and running the cadence of a high performing leadership team.

You will have the following key responsibilities, amongst others:
• Calendar management for the executive – ensuring focus on priorities and preparation to deliver intended outcomes.

• Travel planning, booking and visas for the executive

• Planning and facilitation of team meetings – including agendas, recording actions and follow-up

• Planning and execution of conferences, workshops and social gatherings

• On-boarding and off-boarding of employees

• Expense reporting for the executive

• Cost control and approvals on behalf of the executive

• Preparing documents and presentations

• Initiatives to drive team engagement

• Facilitation of smaller projects

• Resolution of day-to-day practical issues and queries

We are looking for


You are highly energic and proactive, anticipating and addressing needs and in a fast-paced environment. You are comfortable engaging with colleagues at all levels, and you are curious and eager to use your knowledge of the organization and busines priorities to ensure effective calendar management and coordination. You are structured and organized, able to keep the big picture in sight while zooming in on the details that matter.

The ideal candidate has proven experience in the following skills, preferably from a similar role in a large/international organization:
• Exceptional initiative, able to anticipate and proactively and efficiently address the needs of the executive and leadership team

• Incredible energy, with a strong sense of urgency and drive for quality outcomes

• Excellent organizational skills, able to structure and prioritize the right tasks and juggle many things at once

• Comfortable with changes in a dynamic and fast-paced environment, able to adjust and adapt, find new solutions and maintain consistent positive energy and composure

• Service-minded and approachable, adept at listening to, understanding and being able to deliver effectively and efficiently on the needs of others

• Confident and engaged, with a passion for ensuring close collaboration within and across teams and the courage to challenge and improve our ways of working
• Proficiency with MS Office (Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel)

• Fluent in English, both written and verbal
