Do you want to kick-start your Project Management career? Do you have excellent collaboration skills and are you up for learning and working in one of the most exciting, dynamic, and complex areas in Novo Nordisk? Novo Nordisk Pharmatech in Køge is looking for an Associate Project Manager to join a newly established project team. With direct reference to the Project Director, you will become part of the Project Management team in charge of establishing a new greenfield factory. You will be working with multiple stakeholders across the organization, you will work with various subjects, and you will be challenged! The position
You will become part of a newly established project organization that must ensure the capacity to meet the increased demand from Novo Nordisk A/S, by establishing a new greenfield GMP production facility in Zealand.
You will provide timely and relevant updates on project status to all key stakeholders, reporting and adjusting for any deviations from your plans as you advance the projects. You will assist in providing clarity on responsibilities and expectations in the project team and lead the way when it comes to meeting structures and collaboration. You will be working with people with many different backgrounds, across organizational levels and geography – from reporting your results to top management to meeting the operators affected by your decisions.
The new facility is built to modern standards. Sustainability and safety are key aspects during construction and operation as well as ensuring future expansion capabilities. Your key areas of responsibility will be to:
• Assists the Project Director in fulfilling the goals of the project and ensuring that it is completed in a timely matter
• Assist the Project Director in preparing presentations for Steering groups and Management Groups
• Lead project-wide initiatives, execute workshops, and establish flow. Support the Project Management team with the daily management of the project
• Monitor project progress and budget, flagging potential issues and risks for escalation. Coordinate with project teams to check on the regular activities of the project
• Execute quality checks by taking regular updates on the reports, projects analysis, and reports. Assist the Project Director in effective project communication and continuously be aware of stakeholder expectations during the project About the department
Your primary role for the next 3-4 years will be as associate Project Manager in the new facility project. However, you will also be affiliated with our Project Management Office (PMO), where you will be able to draw on the experiences of employees and people managers within your field.
The Project Management Office (PMO) handles projects of different sizes and scopes related to full-scale production, covering rebuild of existing production facilities, introducing new products to the market, as well as implementations of methods, digitalization of processes, equipment, IT, and buildings. Qualifications
As an associate Project Manager, you can share your optimism and solid plans that make people engaged in the project. You show the way by having a can-do attitude, am committed and efficient. As a person, you are open-minded and happy to meet new people as part of participating in project/ cross-functional teams. You thrive in an environment where new challenges and focus can change quickly, but always with the overall common goal in mind. You are fluent in English both written and spoken; Danish language skills will be an advantage. We are looking for someone that can succeed in this job, we imagine that you have: • A BSc. or MSc. degree in business, engineering, project management, IT, or in a similar related field.
• 1-2 years of experience in Project Management Support. Knowledge of regularly used templates, practices, concepts, and procedures in the project management field, gate models, etc.
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills. Strong in prioritizing and organizing your tasks to ensure you focus on the right task.
• Able to work independently and has a high degree of control over your work.
• Well above average Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint skills. Have a special skill that you want to bring to the team Working at Novo Nordisk
