This is a unique opportunity at Novo Nordisk to develop executive skills as an experienced personal assistant to the Corporate Vice President of Rare Disease Research. The Position Reporting to the Corporate Vice President (CVP), Ida Hilden, you can look forward to a diverse role with various activities, ranging from administrative to project-oriented tasks. With Novo Nordisk business insights and a strong network, you will support the integration of the Rare Disease CVP area in the Global Drug Discovery organization as well as in the Rare Disease therapeutic areas across the value chain . Being a skilled personal assistant, you will support strategic ideas by independent decisions and proactively act to facilitate project needs. In the role as CVP Assistant, you are offered a challenging and exiting position as a close collaboration partner to the CVP in Rare Disease Research and you will be part of the leadership team. Your key area of responsibility will be to support the CVP in a wide range of administrative tasks and processes. These include calendar booking, meeting planning, meeting minutes, handling of travel activities and other ad hoc tasks. Besides this, you will play an essential role in tasks related to financial support and budget management, team building, staffing support, stakeholder management, communication with internal/external vendors, quality and compliance tracking, training etc. You will have frequent interactions with other assistants throughout the organization arranging business meetings and maintain cross-functional collaborations. You will be responsible for both internal and external communication. In Novo Nordisk, we are minimizing our travel activities, but you might be involved in projects abroad. Qualifications
  • Your CV mirrors vast experience from complex assistant roles within Novo Nordisk.
  • You have proven and solid skills in driving administrative processes, handling, and organizing tasks, and you demonstrate good business understanding and master professional communication skills.
  • You must have an excellent command of written and spoken English.
  • You are ready to take the next step in you career and develop executive skills to support the CVP in decision making and proactively act in daily business.
  • You are flexible and thrive in an ever-changing international environment, with frequently changing priorities and handle this with your sense of urgency, structure and overview. We are looking for a person who is enthusiastic and engaged and has an eye for delivering high-quality results. You are service. Minded, have a can-do attitude, enjoy working under tight deadlines and master good coordination skills. About the department Rare Disease Research at Novo Nordisk is an expanding new area with skilled scientists and technicians investigating the function of novel drug candidates to improve the treatment of individuals living with rare diseases. We develop innovative drug candidates through in vitro and in vivo research using cutting edge technologies.
