The position
Reporting to the Vice President (VP) of Oral Product Development (OPDev) in Emerging Technologies (ET), you can look forward to a diverse Personal Assistant (PA) role with many different tasks, ranging from administrative and budget management to project-oriented responsibilities. The role will offer you a challenging and exciting position as a close collaboration partner to the VP and the management team in OPDev.
Some of the main tasks will be to:
• Play a key role in tasks related to financial support, budgeting, staffing strategy
• Perform stakeholder management across the value chain
• Communication with internal/external vendors, quality and compliance tracking, training system etc.
• Prepare and present data and presentations, take detailed minutes of meetings with high level of complexity and confidentiality
• Structure and coordinate tasks for, and with, the other administrative assistants in OPDev and interact with the PAs across the ET SVP area
Furthermore, you will support the VP in a wide range of administrative tasks and processes, like assisting with the handling of calendars to book meetings or arranging team building/ events, and host Hosting and coordinate onboarding for OPDev.
This is a substantial VP area in growth, so we hope you are up for the challenge and future that brings!
Qualifications
We are looking for either a person with extensive experience from complex administrative roles as this one or a recent academic graduate in business and/or economics with minimum experience as PA or coordinator.
To be successful in this role, you:
• Are a fast learner who is ready to take on an exciting role and step into a senior management group in the pharmaceutical industry
• Understand how to manage budgets and demonstrate good business understanding
• Have strong skills in driving administrative processes, handling, and organising tasks and projects, usually several at the same time
• Have an excellent command of written and spoken English and Danish
• Have excellent skills in MS office and find it easy to master new IT systems
Experience with SAP, HR or Finance software will be seen as an advantage.
On a personal level, you are flexible and thrive in an ever-changing environment, with frequently moving priorities and handle this with your sense of urgency, structure, and overview. We are looking for a trustworthy person who possesses high integrity, who is engaged and has an eye for delivering high-quality results.
You are service-minded, have a can-do attitude, enjoy working under tight deadlines and master good coordination skills and can communicate effectively with senior members of the management team. You can work independently, being proactive and always striving to find solutions to the challenges at hand.

ET is a newly established SVP area in Novo Nordisk. We have a growing pipeline of new products, many of which are based on emerging technology platforms coming into Product Supply via internal development projects and externally acquired assets.
