The newly established Diabetes project area is looking for an experienced administrative line of business partner to support the Corporate Project Vice President (CPVP) of Diabetes. Join us and you will be working with highly engaged colleagues, every one of whom strives passionately to create better treatments and care for patients.

The job As administrative line of business partner to the CPVP of Diabetes, you are offered a challenging and exciting position in a dynamic environment. Your main area of responsibilities will be administrative support to the CPVP and the newly established leadership team. In collaboration with a strong network of line of business partners in the area and across the organisation, you are responsible for coordinating and deliver according to the annual line of business processes and targets. This involves financial planning and follow up, HR management, meeting planning and quality oversight. Furthermore, you will support the CPVP with communication tasks such as setting up and maintaining a Diabetes communication platform to broaden the knowledge of our newly established area and our activities across the organisation.

Qualifications

We are looking for an employee with an administrative education and solid (minimum 5 years) experience from a similar position. To be successful in the role, you are a dedicated, curious, and proactive team player with the ability and wish to take on responsibilities in support of the CPVP and the leadership team. You can take the lead on various business processes within the Diabetes project area, and you have a well-structured approach also when you are under pressure. Having strong network capabilities and an ability to navigate among your stakeholders will add to your success in the role. You thrive in a global environment of continuous development, and you maintain a focus on high quality and results.

Highly developed budget management skills, professional communication skills and profound IT experience are prerequisites, and you must have excellent command of written and spoken English.

About the department

The Diabetes project area is anchored in Clinical Drug Development under our Development organisation. We are responsible for an exciting pipeline of clinical development programmes targeting people living with type 1 and type 2 diabetes and our trial activities range from phase 1 to phase 4 – including Real-World Evidence (RWE) activities, virtual and decentralised trials, and non-interventional studies. We collaborate closely across many skill areas and together we all contribute with our high level of expertise. In Diabetes, you will be part of a high performing culture with focus on patient needs, science, cross-functional collaboration, and personal development. Currently, we are a team of 160 colleagues located primarily at our site in Søborg.
