You will be part of patient voice strategy and alliances in Global Medical Affairs and will work in Søborg, Denmark. We are a small team with the ambition to grow. We are responsible for leading and overseeing Novo Nordisk efforts to put patients at the centre of our operation and decision-making. We provide strategic input and operational excellence to ensure that Novo Nordisk is providing high-quality, patient-centred care, and continuously improve the patient experience. The Position
A patient voice strategy is a plan for ensuring that the perspectives and experiences of patients are included and considered in our development decision-making processes. In this role, your main responsibilities will be to:
  • Generate and lead Patient Voice strategies with a cross-functional team in key therapeutic areas; ensuring regular reporting to senior management
  • Chair or co-chair a patient voice team
  • Participate in relevant internal forums and workstreams to provide advise and direction to incorporate the Patient Voice, and drive reflection and alignment with business objectives.
  • Disseminate knowledge and ensure adoption of Patient Voice related topics across the organisation
  • Represent Novo Nordisk in external forums relating to Patient Voice in R&D
  • You will be developing, advising on and implementing patient engagement initiatives, and working with other departments to ensure that patient-centered practices are incorporated into all aspects of our work. As patient voice strategy lead, you will report directly to the Chief Patient Officer. Qualifications
    To be successful in this role, we expect you to have:
  • MSc. In life science or other relevant fields
  • Experience in patient focused drug development
  • Strong understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and the patient experience, including patient engagement .
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively engage with key internal stakeholders globally, patients, healthcare providers, and other stakeholders.
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams and working with different departments and stakeholders to develop and implement patient engagement strategies.
  • Strong project management skills to plan and execute patient engagement initiatives.
  • Additionally, we would like you to have an ability to think strategically and creatively to develop innovative patient engagement solutions, and strong analytical skills to evaluate the effectiveness of patient engagement strategies and make data-driven decisions. As a person you are motivated to drive new initiatives in a complex and dynamic environment. You have a high degree of independence to set direction and deliver results in close collaboration with other experts. You enjoy identifying better practice across the industry and improve these.
