Reporting to the Vice President (VP) in Biostatistics, you can look forward to taking up a key role with diverse assignments, ranging from administrative tasks to independent coordination and follow-up. About The Department The global Biostatistics function is part of Data Science in our global clinical development organisation (Development). We are a strategic partner in leading product development worldwide across all therapy areas from early development phases to product introduction and life cycle management. Our primary responsibility is to ensure statistical data and documentation for clinical submissions to authorities while securing that the process lives up to uniform global standards, regulations, and business ethics. We have an international and diverse environment where you will be able to use your cross-cultural awareness, having Biostatistics colleagues in India, USA, China, Japan, and Denmark as well as our outsourcing partners in India and Europe. The position (Based in Novo Nordisk Søborg) As VP Assistant, you will work in a job, where two days are rarely alike. Your key area of responsibility will be to support your VP with:
  • Coordinating calendars and planning travel activities
  • Preparing pre-reads, presentations, minutes, and following up on actions
  • Providing support in people life cycle incl. recruitment and onboarding
  • Booking and coordinating events, conferences, and seminars
  • Preparing budgets, monthly follow-up, and handling expenses / invoices
  • Supporting and pro-actively driving various processes / projects
  • Supporting our communication efforts via SharePoint, Teams, etc.
  • You will collaborate with many different internal and external stakeholders and support the team in building up a sound culture. You can look forward to becoming a member of the Biostatistics VP area’s leadership team and the Biostatistics Administrative team with skilled and inclusive team members. Qualifications We are looking for you, who are service-minded, passionate, and eager to take ownership of diverse assignments. For a great start, an administrative or similar background within business administration or have experience from a similar role would be an asset, but most importantly you enjoy the administrative role and are eager to learn and further develop your skills. In addition, we hope you hold the following qualifications:
  • You are experienced with taking charge of calendar management and enjoy making everything come together.
  • You communicate effortlessly, both verbally and written in English at a business level
  • You have experience with MS Office365 and the interconnected functionalities. You are a fast learner and quick to pick up new software skills.
  • You are flexible and thrive in a fast-changing environment, with frequently changing priorities and handle this with your sense of urgency, structure, and overview.
  • Previously worked with budgets and are not afraid of numbers
  • You perform your job by using excellent collaboration skills
  • As a trusted colleague, the ability to handle matters of confidentiality is a must. You know how to provide great service and thrive in the role as go-to person, and you enjoy a fast pace.
