    WHO YOU ARE

    We are looking for a committed and inspiring People and Culture Manager who is passionate about people and business. You have a strong personal leadership in line with the IKEA values and you are highly successful in bringing out the best in others. You find energy and motivation in releasing others’ potential, allowing them to grow. Thanks to your excellent communication skills you have the ability to create strong and trustful relationships, tying a link to the co-workers in the store.

    You support and develop the people strategy based on the store’s local need. At the same time you are brave and willing to explore new paths, always daring to do something different when needed. You have a good business understanding and how to drive the people agenda through others.

    You have several years of previous experience from both leadership and HR, preferably from a larger organisation or similar business. In addition to your experience your personality and leadership capability will be of outmost importance.

    YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

    The People and Culture Manager is an important part of the store management team, responsible for ensuring that the people strategy is supporting the business strategy both in line with global guidelines and local needs. A major part of your role is to challenge and develop our people and culture processes in close cooperation with your team. This includes ensuring that the people and culture strategies are locally translated into action in the most effective and efficient way, hence actively contributing to the growth of the business through people. You work in a fast-paced and continuously changing customer-focused environment, with a focus on and passion for co-workers, customers and sales. As People and Culture Manager in IKEA Aarhus you will be the closest manager of 6 co-workers.

    TOGETHER AS A TEAM

    As our People and Culture Manager you are a business partner, and together with our leaders you attract, challenge, support and develop our co-workers and leaders. You proactively work with change management, organizational development, cost performance, leadership development, competence development, coaching, recruitment, work environment and people planning, etc. Together with the management team you are responsible for securing an up-to-date succession progress and plan by influencing the managers in developing talents and high-performing potentials.

    This is a full time permanent position with start according to agreement. In order to be a true business partner you also have to work some evenings and weekends.
