Join us to work in an international setting
We are looking for candidates based in either Germany or Denmark, and so you will be working from our office in either Beckum or Aarhus, depending on your location. Therefore, you can also expect some travel time between the two locations as you will become responsible for the cyber and information security area in its entirety spanning the two geographical locations.
Implement our cyber and information security strategy
BEUMER Group takes Information Security seriously. On the one hand for products and services and on the other hand for processes within our group companies worldwide. To execute this strategic focus we extend our organisation to the field of Information Security, under the leadership of the Head of Cyber and Information Security. In this role you will report to our Cyber & Information committee headed by the CEO of BEUMER Group. Here, you will be responsible for our security strategy and road map, just as you will be in charge of creating the framework for the implementation of the strategy.
As the primary advisor, covering this area in its entirety, you will coordinate tasks and tie together – as well as utilise – the liaisons needed to make this happen within the Product, Customer Support, Group IT, Risk Management and Digital Strategy & Innovation business areas
More specifically, you will:
- Develop and maintain cyber security policies and processes and ensure that these are adopted into our organisation
- Oversee progress in cyber and information security projects
- Carry out and assist in risk assessments
- Report on risk assessments and compliance audits to the Cyber & Information Security committee and other stakeholders across the business
- Develop and coordinate cyber and information security training and awareness programmes across BEUMER Group
Experience with IT security and the ability to create buy-in
Meeting with stakeholders and interacting with employees who work with cyber and information security across the organisation, you will have a wide interface with many touchpoints. This calls for excellent communication skills as well as an ability to navigate easily at all levels of an organisation.
You know that the key to your success is building solid relationships and creating buy-in for this new area, and you bring your enthusiasm for IT security to the table in your interaction with those around you. Moreover, we expect you to have:
- Solid leadership skills from your experience as a project manager or team lead
- Experience with IT security on a tactical as well as operational level
- Knowledge of IT architecture and IT security elements and threats
- Knowledge of IT security topics related to IT operations, software development, IOT and automation
- Experience with risk assessment and knowledge of how to transform this into action plans in cooperation with teams across the organisation
- Experience with ISMS and ISO 27001
- Excellent communication skills in English, both spoken and written
