About the department

The Digital Accelerator is where we do things differently - a team of people who challenges the traditional ways of working, and we are “wired differently”. The turnaround time from idea to a released product is short, but the impact is tremendous because we stand on the shoulders of an industry giant, improving the lives of 29.000.000 patients across the globe.

In the Digital Accelerator, you are part of driving a cultural change through a joint venture with selected business units in Novo Nordisk in units called Digital Lighthouses. The Digital Lighthouse serves as an innovation catalyst for the unit where it is placed. The focus is to drive the digitalization strategy and at the same time influencing the collaboration culture towards a more agile approach.

We aim to do this by growing small, self-organising teams comprised by people passionate within their field(s) of expertise working to solve some of the most critical business challenges in Novo Nordisk. In order to add the most value, our people are 100% dedicated and co-located together close to the users enabling co-creation. We see our workspace as a space for learning and experimentation to try out new hypotheses and drive meaningful change for our customers and the organisation.

The position

Most of your day-to-day work will be carried out in one of the Lighthouses. Your responsibilities are to apply your agile competences and experiences through coaching and mentoring the Lighthouse team(s), helping them realizing their potential and deliver unique digital products.

You will act as an influencer and catalyst in promoting an agile culture throughout the Lighthouse business unit. This requires you to be curious about the organisation, the people within, how they collaborate, and how to create a reflecting and learning culture. This includes leadership coaching and sparring with various units on adapting an agile approach.

This role is fundamental for creating an environment of trust and great team dynamics, where people can experiment, learn and deliver their best by working together as agile teams. You will be a part of the Digital Accelerator Agile Coach Chapter, and an important part of your job is also to bring back learnings from the teams you coach and share with the other Agile Coaches as basis for on-going development of supporting guidance, alignment and further scaling to the remaining part of the organisation.

Qualifications

You have a Master’s degree in Business, Computer Science or similar field of study as well as extensive hands-on experience in coaching and leading agile teams, either as SCRUM Master or Agile Coach. You are well-versed with SCRUM and DevOps practices, and adapt your approach and choice of techniques to the contexts and people.

Given that we are embarking on a new journey, you are able to proactively identify and drive larger improvement initiatives and influence the overall strategic direction of organisational initiatives. You effectively build followership and coach leaders in cutting organisational complexity to simplify the ways we build digital products addressing the challenges of our patients.

As a person, you are empathic and energetic, and excel in an environment with a high degree of empowerment. You are able to engage with colleagues and stakeholders at all levels of an organisation and actively drive cross-collaborative initiatives and build communities. Your communication skills are high and you feel confident presenting to larger audiences. Overall, you are passionate about agile ways of working, and are eager to deliver value with your unique skillset.

Fluency in English is a prerequisite.
