With our current Strategy Partner going on parental leave, this is an ideal opportunity for you who wants to accelerate your own development, work cross-functionally on strategy development and strategic projects and to expand your network at all levels of the organisation.
About the department
As Strategy Partner for Devices & Supply Chain Management (D&S), you will be a part of D&S Strategy and Business Development team located in Bagsværd, Denmark.
The SVP area D&S is responsible for device, needle, contract and local manufacturing, as well as sourcing and supply chain management across Product Supply. This covers a wide range of functions such as bringing new devices from Research & Development into production, manufacturing and sourcing of device components and needles, managing a large number of CMOs and supply chain planning.
You will join the D&S Strategy and Business Development team, which works across the SVP area to drive an integrated business development agenda within Strategy, Strategic Finance, EHS, LEAN and Communications. The team also functions as executive assistant to the SVP of D&S. We value professionalism and responsibility and have an open and informal culture. The position
Your primary responsibility will be to drive strategy development and strategy deployment across D&S. This will be done through developing the D&S Business Plan together with the D&S leadership team and by driving execution of this strategy. Furthermore, you will play a key role in strategic decisions by working with exploratory scenarios and assessing implications across Product Supply, Quality and IT (PSQIT) and Novo Nordisk with a wide range of stakeholders from different functions and levels of the organisation.
To succeed you will need to have strong analytical skills, a strategic mind set and holistic approach to solving strategic problems, in order to find the best solution for Novo Nordisk as a whole. You will need to continuously bring forth new ideas and opportunities, as well as having excellent communication and stakeholder management skills. You will liaise with all parts of D&S, PSQIT and key stakeholders in IO and North America. To create business impact, the role calls for solid project management skills and experience with process facilitation.
Qualifications
You hold a relevant master’s degree and have 6-10 years of experience within finance, supply chain, management consulting or management support and a proven track record of delivering consistently high performance. You need to be fluent in English and comfortable working across functions and cultures as you will be working in an international team and engaging with international stakeholders.
We are looking for a person who is passionate about strategy development and deployment, who can build good relationships to key stakeholders and be able to communicate on a strategic level with senior management. You can drive a process end-to-end and are structured, independent and comfortable with managing many different perspectives. You are curious on all aspects of the business and come with new ideas and recommendations based on business insights. You have professional and personal impact, high energy and a sense of urgency that is reflected in your desire to make a true difference.
