Can you secure best in class production capabilities in a business that significantly improves patients’ quality of life? Then we would like to hear from you.
Reapplix – a Danish MedTech company – has established that one of the keys to successful wound treatment lies in the body’s own capacity to heal. The patented 3C Patch® System produces a personalized wound therapy on demand in a simple 20-minute process using a small sample of the patient’s own blood. Diabetic Foot Ulcers are a serious consequence of diabetes and around 60% of all patients experience a wound that does not heal. Reapplix aims to transfrom the treatment of diabetic foot ulcers and improve the quality of life of patients. 3C Patch® is clinically proven to significantly accelerate wound healing, nearly doubling the chance of healing, and improve wound reduction of hard-to-heal diabetic foot ulcers.
Reapplix recently secured significant funding and is now ready to drive commercialization – especially in the US. This is therefore a unique opportunity, as their new Manufacturing Director, to be part of enabling and ensuring the success of this exciting growth journey. You will play a key role, continually developing and improving manufacturing and supply chain excellence to support significant business growth, in a company where ambitions are very high, and the technology is state of the art.
Responsible for ensuring production capabilities that match business growth
As Manufacturing Director, you will work in a dynamic start-up environment and be part of the management team. You will work closely with finance, operations, and the sales & marketing team as well as external stakeholders and partners. You will own the manufacturing strategy and supply chain management, including key suppliers and sub-contractors. You will lead the creation and execution of the manufacturing strategy, measure its success, and take action accordingly to match business needs. You will lead a small team which will develop in the coming years, depending on the strategy.
Your tasks include, but are not limited to:
Entrepreneurial mindset with strong interpersonal skills
To succeed in this role, you need to have excellent experience within medical device and/or MedTech manufacturing. If you have solid knowledge about scale up of a production as well as working with FDA compliance, then this is a clear advantage. We expect you to be capable of understanding technical solutions and a set up where production mainly is done via subcontractors. It is very important that you have a structured approach to everything you do, while meeting deadlines and maintaining pace. Your organisational skills enable you to create the backbone of the manufacturing and supply chain to scale production according to business needs. You enjoy working in an entrepreneurial environment, where the company is on its way to something big and where you will take your part of the responsibility to ensure this success. Furthermore, you should have excellent command of English and a high level of IT skills.
